How to Use Magic

An important element in GreedFall is the use of magic. Having the ability to cast spells will allow you to not only attack enemies but also to heal, strengthen other attacks and influence some enemies. Check out our How to Use Magic in GreedFall to find out everything you need to know.

If at the start of the game you did not select the Magic class you will first have to unlock the Divine Magic Ring skill which costs 2 skill points and get a starter ring, this item can either by found around the island or purchased from merchants. If you selected the Magic class you get the Magic Ring skill and the starter ring automatically. You will also be able to obtain better rings by finding or purchasing them from merchants. When you find or buy a new ring you will be able to use it when you equip it in the 'Equipment' menu .

Magic can be developed using the skill tree. You can purchase a whole array of magic spells and increase their power. The stats directly related to spell casting are mental power, accuracy, and willpower. Each of which will provide you with faster mana regeneration and increased accuracy. All magic attacks have the capability to penetrate the armour of opponents.
