How to Recover Health

As you explore the island of Teer Fradee you will battle rival factions and dangerous animals which will inevitably lead to you getting wounded at some point. This How to Recover Health guide will tell you everything you need to know about how to heal in GreedFall.

Health Potions

When you start the game you will have a few vials in stock. These vials and any other potions you gain can be used them from your inventory. It is advised that you immediately bind them to a shortcut so you can easily activate them during combat. Health potions can also be accessed during an active pause. Ways of obtaining health potions include:

• Found in chests along with other loot.

• Purchased from merchants

• Craft yourself using alchemy

Only purchase health potions from merchants as a last resort as it is more beneficial to spend gold on other items that cannot be depleted. If you decide to craft health potions you will need to have unlocked at least one level of Science and have the required ingredients (2x Hawthorn, 1x Beast essence). Resuscitation Powder

Another way that you can treat the wounds you pick up from battle is through the use of Resuscitation Powder which like health potions can be found in chests, purchased from merchants, or crafted using alchemy. Resuscitation Powder is used to resurrect fallen companions so they can continue fighting.

Magic Healing Skill

If you do not want to use your stock of healing potions you can get 'free' treatment by having the Magic Healing skill. You will find the Magic Healing skill at the top right of the the skill tree and this ability can be accessed from the side of One-Handed Heavy Weapons, or the Stasis.The first level of the Magic Healing skill will be sufficient enough to treat most wounds. Unlocking its subsequent levels will give the ability added bonuses. These are listed below.

Level 2 Healing Skill:

You will be able to get rid of poisons from the body. Before you receive this skill, you can use the antidote ampoules.

Level 3 Healing Skill:

You will be able to recover 50% more health points.

Level 4 Healing Skill:

You will be able to renew armour points.

Level 5 Healing Skill:

You will be able to treat companions. They will only get 50% of the effects of the treatment

Rest

If you are not in combat you will be ale to replenish heath by resting. You can rest in houses, main cities, and in camps.

Vigor

In GreedFall the talent Vigor will allow limited replenishment of your character's base health and mana.
