GreedFall Cheats and Tips
In GreedFall you must use diplomacy, deception, and force to compete against other colonial factions also intent on conquering the 'new' land which has been spared the Malichor plague that threatens to end mankind.
- Listen to your Companions
All your companions have information that will be useful during quests so whenever there is a mission that involves the faction of one of your companions make sure you take them with you as their presence will help a lot.

- Explore Each Area
You must scout each new area you visit as exploration will yield loot, experience, quests, and new characters to interact with, all of which will help you to progress in the game.

- Tactical Pause
GreedFall features a unique Tactical Pause Option, which allows you to pause the game mid fight and select form your Actions, Spells, Techniques and Potions to choose key items and skills to claim victory. Make sure when you use this option you also pan around the battle to get a better look at what you are up against, your enemy's level/rank and their current health status.
- Crafting
There are lots of potions, traps, bombs and ointments you can craft in GreedFall as well as various upgrades you can apply to your weapons and armour. Make sure while you are exploring you loot everything you can so you have the necessary resources to craft them. Crafting will not only enable you to make things and upgrade your gear it will also improve your damage and defence.
- Increase Science Level
You may want to consider increasing your science level in the Talents section as doing so can help you gain knowledge on how to create explosives which can then be used to breach walls.
- Use Travel Pause
Each time that you fast travel from one area to another on the map you will take a 'travel pause' while the destination area loads. During this time all your companions will be gathered at the camp along with a crafing table and a merchant who will restock every time you visit and sells potions, ammo, gear and capes.
Instead of skipping straight out of the 'travel pause' when you fast travel get into the habit of talking to your companions and loading up on essentials.
- Your Actions Have Consequences
Be aware that every choice you make whether a lie or truth could potentially have ramifications down the line. Also keep in mind who you are cosying up to and who you are upsetting as you never know when you may need something from a faction you previously upset.

| Where do you find the keys for locked doors and chests? |
| Keys can usually be found in the same locations as chests or doors. You can usually find them in sight by looking around, they can also be obtained from a corpse of one of the eliminated characters. |
| How do you set up camp? |
| You will only be able to camp at the locations on the map that have a camp icon. Each region has one or more camps |
| How do you jump? |
| When the game informs you about the option to jump you must have the level 2 of the Vigor talent unlocked to perform the action. |
| How do you walk across narrow beams? |
| Narrow beams that require balancing can be traversed if you unlock level 1 of the Vigor talent. |
| How much do bombs cost to buy? |
| You should be able to buy a ready-to-use bomb from a trader for about 50 gold. |
