Fae Farm is a farming life sim game for 1-4 players that takes you to Azonia, a fairytale island full of mystery. We have a collection of cheats and tips that will help you progress in the game which is available on Nintendo Switch and PC.

In Fae Farm you build the home of your dreams, meet charming characters, foster deep relationships, and discover ways to infuse magic into everything you do using the spells that you learn. You also have to care for a variety of cute animals on your farm. Customize your character, master the arts of crafting, cooking, potion-making, and discover so much more.

Explore your surroundings to unfold the mysteries of the island. As you progress in your magical adventure the seasons will change and you'll be able to unlock new areas and restore the world around you.

Cheats, Tips and Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you in the game.

• Take Advantage of Tutorial Mode Energy

  During Tutorial mode, you are granted unlimited stamina which is intended to help you grasp the game's fundamentals. Once you complete Tutorial mode you will not have access to this infinite stamina so it is important that you take advantage of it on your first day to complete farming and mining rocks. Starting from the following day you will need to consume regular food to continue carrying out these activities.

• Pause the Game to Save Time

  The time in Fae Farm is split into days and nights. The average day lasts around 20-30 minutes with night being shorter. This means time is crucial and it is important that you don't waste it.

  Luckily you have the ability to save your day by pausing the game. In order to do this you simply have to open your menu and press the 'Pause' button or alternately engage in conversation with an NPC character which achieves the same result. Make sure you take advantage of this strategy to save time.

• Use Your Map to Find NPCs

  In Fae Farm you can quickly locate an NPC you need to find by opening your map and selecting the NPC in question to get a tracker arrow that will lead you directly to them. You will also be able to see if the NPC has some kind of a quest for you. Main quests and festival quests are your priority and they will be signified by a diamond with an exclamation mark inside.

• Prioritize Unlocking Fast Travel

  During the early stages of the Fae Farm you will have to travel between several themed biomes in order to gather essential items that can only be found there. Travel between these realms can be time consuming and frustrating so it is recommended that you unlock game's fast travel mechanic as soon as possible.

  To unlock fast travel in Fae farm you must activate the pedestals that act as teleportation portals, thses can be found scattered throughout the island of Azoria. To activate the pedestals you must acquire and craft the corresponding seal. When you approach a pedestal, it will indicate the type of seal required for activation. You can craft seals through the Seal Crafting Station, which can be unlocked early in the game.

• Pay Attention to the Seasons

  In Fae Farm there are four different seasons - spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Each of these seasons brings with it new crops, new fish, new forageables, and new critters.

  For example, each season has its own wild greens. Spring has arugula, summer has dandelion, autumn has red chard, and winter has collard greens. All the greens are the same when it comes to cooking but they appear differently.

  This is the same for the nuts and mushrooms that appear in the Spooky Forest. Also the shellfish in the Saltwater Mines, the berries on bushes, and the forageables in the winter areas later in the game. If you are trying to unlock everything in the almanac you will still need to pick them all.

• Don't Sell Everything you Find

  As you explore the island you will discover things like crops, ores, and gemstones. Resist the temptation to sell everything you find to horde cash for tool upgrades or seed purchases. What the game does not tell you is that these items become useful later in the game.

  If you keep at least 10 units of very unique item you discover you will solve the problems you face in the story quests with ease. It is recommended that you keep hold of all the ore you discover in the early stages of the game, and also items like topaz, citrine, aquamarine, peridot, sand, sand dollars, coral, and silt.

• Get Upgrades for your Tools

  Try not to skip the dialogue in Fae Farm as doing so can make you miss important mechanics which you need to know about. During one such conversation you will learn that tool upgrades are shared between villagers Mel, Eddy, and Cinder.

  Upgrades for tools are given by Cindy and who you will find near the docks, fishing rod upgrades are provided by Eddy who you can find in Stay-A-While Bay, and if you need your net upgraded the person to see is Mel the Beekeper in West Town. Keep in mind that tool upgrades require a fair amount of cash and ores to forge.

• Stock Up on Meals and Potions Before Entering Dungeons

  The dungeons in Fae Farm are tough to beat so it is essential before you enter them you visit the potion shop near East Town and purchase potions that will boost your health capacity so it helps you get through new floors of dungeons when you discover them.

  If you are running low on cash you will have to resort to planting seeds to growing vegetables which so you can then use the craftable Food Prep Table and/or Cooking Fire to create edible meals that provide similar benefits for health and stamina.

• Get Income Early by Growing Flowers

  It is important that you establish Soil Beds at the start of the game as these will allow you to grow a variety of crops which you can then profit from by selling.

  Once you have unlocked the Flower Soil Bed make sure that you plant as many flowers as you can. The flowers that you plant will be regenerative goods that you can constantly pluck and sell. You won't make a lot of money from selling these flowers but they will provide a reliable source of income.

• Mine Gems to Make Lots of Money

  Although you can make money from activities such as growing crops and fishing, the best way comes from the gems you gather from the mines. These gems can be polished using the Gem Polisher workbench to net a nice profit. You can maximize profits by unlocking mines that are further down with more valuable gems. In order to do this it is essential that whenever possible you level up your pickaxe and your mining skills.

• Everything will Unlock Eventually

  Everything you need in Fae Farm will eventually be revealed, you just need to be patient. All items to complete a quest can be found in the world somewhere, it usually means travelling further into the lower reaches of dungeons, eploring the open world, or talking to a specific character to obtain a clue that will shed light on the mystery item you are after. If you keep advancing the plot, taking on quests, and tackling new dungeon levels, you will eventually find what you are looking for.
