Nearly all the characters begin Evil Dead: The Game without a weapon and if you have chosen to play one of them your first priority will be to find something to arm them with. Scattered throughout the game are plenty of different types of weapons you can pick up and used to fight against the Kandarian Demon. All weapons come in four rarities, with Common being the weakest and Legendary being the most powerful. Take a look at our Weapons Tier List to see which weapons we consider to be the best in the game.
Keep in mind that in most cases a Legendary version of a bad weapon will still be considerably better than a Common version of a good weapon. You also need to keep in mind that this list is based on each weapon's overall capabilities, assuming there is no difference in rarity between the weapons.

Without doubt the most effective weapon for your character to get their hands on in an Evil Dead: The Game match is one of the shotguns. Of the two the single barrel shotgun is the better weapon, it has the highest damage in the game, able to knock enemies off-balance, and has decent range. The only advantage the iconic double barrel shotgun has over its single barrel counterpart is its faster rate of fire and reload speed.
