Evil Dead: The Game Beginner Tips and Tricks

Listed below are several Beginner Tips and Tricks which will help you in Evil Dead: The Game.

Survivor Tips and Tricks

Always Stick Together

To help prevent fear from rising, so you reduce the demon's ability to find and possess survivors it is essential that the party never splits up as you explore the map. When the party sticks together it not only keeps fear under control it also makes it harder for the demon player to isolate one of the characters and eliminate them easily.

Don't Waste your Flashlight

Your flashlight in Evil Dead: The Game has the ability to reveal concealed items, unfortunately it has a limited battery life, so you need to make sure you keep it switched off to preserve power until you need it to search buildings, or fight Deadbites in the pitch darkness. Keep in mind you will only be able to collect a series of elements that you have previously illuminated with the flashlight, so it is advised you to use it indoors where more objects can be found.

Use Fires and Lanterns to Heal Fear

Sticking with the rest of the survivors and light are the two best ways in which you can reduce fear. A good strategy is to set fires along the way and keep an eye out for existing fires and lanterns you can use. Keep in mind that your fear is healed faster the more light there is.

Search for Better Weapons

Although the enemy is continually getting more powerful and will eventually overpower you it is essential that you still take the time to search for better weapons and resources to stand a better chance. Always search the buildings you come across as you make your way to objectives.

Upgrade your Character with Pink F Bottles

Keep an eye out for Pink F bottles during the game as these will allow you to enhance your character permanently via the Collection section of the game menu between matches. It is important to remember that the points you get from Pink F bottles can't be redistributed, so you need to spend them wisely, and think about what skills might be most beneficial to you. Aside from enhancing basic stats, hitting certain levels will grant your character new abilities and powers to make use of.

Always Use a Car.

Scattered throughout the game are cars, and they are there for a reason. You can't run around the map all the time, and cars will keep you from becoming fearful since the Demon player needs to concentrate on catching up with you.

Search All of the Gray Area for Map Pieces

When the game tells you to check a key location for one of the map pieces you need to make sure you search the whole gray area on the map, this includes the demon-infested woodland and not just the buildings, sheds, and structures that are there.

Work Together against Boss Demons

If you hope to survive against boss demons such as Evil Ash, Henrietta and the Eligos your party needs to work as a cohesive team and deal with them as quickly as possible. These powerful Deadbites are capable of doing plenty of damage so when one appears everybody in the party should use all their most powerful attacks and weapons to end the threat fast. If you encounter one of these boss demons on your own you need to flee as fast as you can to be with the rest of your party, trying to tackle it alone will result in your character dying.

Revive Teammates

If a member of your party has fallen you need to take the time to revive them. You have unlimited revives, and it is important that you and your teammates keep each other alive because losing a survivor before the very last fight can be detrimental.

Demon Tips and Tricks

Possess the Fearful

Always try to possess the fearful survivors in Evil Dead: The Game before they can pull themselves together. Players know that having a high fear rating can result in them being temporarily possessed, and they will make it their priority to try and lower it when it gets too high. Immediately possess a survivor as soon as the option appears and try to wreck as much havoc as possible before you are beaten out. While possessing a survivor look to use ranged weapons as they are more powerful and burn up limited ammo.

Boost your Demon Level

Make sure you try to hamper and slow down the survivors at every opportunity because delaying the completion of the match will enable your Demon Level to increase resulting in you becoming more powerful and more of a threat. Once your Demon Level surpasses 25 you will start to become an evil force to be reckoned with. The maximum Demon Level in Evil Dead: The Game is 45.

Keep Collecting Infernal Energy Orbs.

If you are playing the Demon the best thing you can do is to continue collecting the Infernal Energy Orbs as they will enable you to level up continuously over time.

Focus on Destroying the Necronomicon

Make sure when the Necronomicon is active you focus your efforts on destroying it. Forget about the Survivors, the nearby Deadites will be more than enough for them to deal with. By destroying the Necronomicon you will win the match, regardless of who is still alive.

Save your Boss Mode for the End

Always save your boss mode which is the ultimate attack of coming life and attacking the Survivors in a phystical for the very end of the match. The reason you should do this is that you're going to need your large health and huge attacks at that point.
