The Spirit Points system in Evil Dead: The Game works adjacent to the normal progression and account-based leveling. They are awarded at the end of matches, the amount you receive is dependent on your performance in the match. This What are Spirit Points guide will tell you everything you need to know about them.

What are Spirit Points

Spirt Points are basically a form of skill points that your character can earn during a match. The more matches of Evil Dead: The Game you play with a specific Survivor or Demon the more XP you will rack up for them, as this happens their character level will slowly increase. Each time the character levels up they will gain one Spirit Point which you will then be able to invest in unlocking a skill which will make them stronger. You will be able to do this by going to the main menu, selecting 'Collection' followed by the skill you want to unlock and then spending a Spirit Point to confirm your selection. It is crucial that when you spend your Spirit Points you do so on skills that will beneficial to the character you are using. Your objective is to make the character as strong as possible for the tough matches. Don't get Spirit Points confused with the Pink F Points you get within matches, which only upgrade your character's stats during the match itself.

How to Get Spirit Points

In order to get Spirit Points you need to get as much XP during a match of Evil Dead: The Game as possible to increase the player level of your character, so they level up. The amount of XP you gain depends on your actions during the match, these include how good you are at completing the objectives and how much you contributed to the team. Listed below are the categories the game will take into consideration when awarding XP.

- Main objectives completed

- Time spent on objectives

- Boss units killed

- Elite units killed

- Basic units killed

- Damage dealt

- Finishers executed

- Headshots executed

- Survived the match without dying

- Teammates revived from bleeding out

- Dead teammates resurrected

- Healing given

- Pink F collected

It is important to remember that if during a game you disconnect or leave early you will forfeit all the rewards you gained during that match. It is therefore recommended that you stay to the end of the match to claim your XP progress.
