Added:

Halidom is the game's city-building element where you typically render some structure-building and upgrading to earn some additional resources, and impart some relative boosts to your units with passive buffs. In Dragalia Lost, the Halidom can ultimately help boost your adventurer's stats, weapon, and Dragons -- just by merely building and upgrading specific facilities.

When you enter the Halidom the first time, it will run you through the basics -- explaining how to build facilities there, and of course when you start to tinker about it more, will you eventually find out what the structures you build are for. As you upgrade these structures you've already built, you'll improve the passive boost they share at the same time -- meaning, the higher the upgrade they get, the better overall passive boost it will give your units in the game. To learn more about what a structure actually does and how it is supposed to help you, you can simply tap on it and select "Info".

There are the resource producing facilities too in the Halidom too like the Rupie Mine and the Dragontrees - which are both producing some sort of consumable items that relatively impart progress in your game. Rupie mines produces "Rupies" -which are the common currency used in the game, while the Dragontrees will produce items called "Dragonfruit" - which are used to increase the EXP of Dragons to level them up.

When you finally get the inner workings of the facilities you find in Halidom, you'll steadily be able to build more of them to a point where you'll realize that there's not enough space to get you everything you want. When you get to this point, you should know that there is an option to "Put Away" the structures within the Halidom and keep them in an inventory like section called "Storehouse". The same can be done if you simply want to re-arrange stuff inside your Halidom - just store them in your inventory, and re-position them elsewhere.

The other reason that the Halidom is there for - is for you to have some sort of variety of task to do in the game. As you know, it has a movement penalty system too - which limits the number of Endeavors you can do at a time. During the times you are limited by these penalties, you can attend to your Halidom as a sort of alternative thing to do in the game.

Different Buildings to find and build in Halidom:

1. Rupie Mines - production type of building that are one way to earn Rupies in the game. Upgrading them will increase its hold capacity, as well slightly increase its income rate.

2. Dragon Trees - a production type of building like the Rupie mine, but this one produces Dragon fruits instead. Dragon fruits are mainly used to level up your Dragons (gives EXP). Upgrading this facility similarly increase both its maximum hold capacity and income rate.

3. Adventurer Element Altars - different elemental altars that provide passive buffs to Adventurers that shares the same elemental affinity. Upgrading these facilities will increase the passive buffs they provide.

4. Dracoliths - different elemental altars that provide passive buffs to Dragons that shares the same elemental affinity. Upgrading these facilities will increase the passive buffs they provide.

5. Decorative - items that can add flare to your Halidom. Purely cosmetics and perfect for those extra space you don't get to use in your Halidom.

6. Dojos - are similar to Adventurer Element Altars -- providing passive buffs for a specific type of weapon. Upgrading these facilities will increase the passive buffs they provide. Take note though that you'll only get your chance to actually build them after clearing the 6th Chapter of the campaign, as specific items needed to construct them can only be obtained by participating in the "Imperial Onslaught" which is unlocked only after clearing the 6th Chapter.

7. Smithy - special facility that unlocks the weapon "Crafting" section of the game. As you upgrade your smithy to a certain levels, it unlocks the capability to produce higher tiers (4 and 5 star) Weapons.
