Leveling in Dragalia Lost is separated into 5 different sections -- which collectively improves you party's overall might. Might in the game is is basically the computed sum of your party members' battle efficiency. This includes their base stats, the passive bonuses they get from their equipped Dragons, as well as their wyrmprints (card like accessories in the game), and many other factors. Each of these units can be individually improved -- which would ultimately contribute to improving your overall Might.

Five Sections to Improve on the Game:

1. Characters - each adventurer in the game has its base stats. You can improve them by carefully selecting which ones you put in your party from the get-go. The star ratings you see on the character relatively hints you which ones are the better pick - 3 stars being the common ones, and the 5 stars being the best pick. You can level them up as you play through the campaign, but regardless of the level, higher rarity characters would always end up the better option - which is why a lot of starting players try to re-roll the game until they get a 5 star pull from the very start prior to linking their Nintendo account. (re-rolling the game simply means reinstalling the game and deleting all progress).

2. Dragons - like that of Adventurers, dragons in the game have their base stats that you can improve on while they level up. However, leveling up a dragon is kind of different in the game. Instead of gaining experience while using them in the battles, they earn experience by giving them Dragon Fruits you earn from Dragon Trees in the Halidom. Like the adventurers too, Dragons are classified by their elemental affinity, as well as their rarity. That said, it is important to figure out which elemental affinity you'd like to work on, as well as picking the ones with better rarity from the get-go for their higher default base stats. If by any chance you are having a hard time pulling out a rare dragon in Summon, just play through the campaign as it will nonetheless give you most of the 4 star dragons there.

3. Wyrmprints - are special card like items in the game that can be equipped to your Adventurers like an accessory. In return, they give your adventurers some passive buffs or special Skills. There are varieties that are classified depending on what type of character will use them (Attack, Defense, Healer, Support). Similar to adventurers and Dragons, they are also graded by rarity -- which denotes the higher the rarity it has, the better buffs it gives. You should work on obtaining matching wyrmprints for your choice of adventurers to make the most of out them, as well as to optimize your overall might.

4. Weapons - upon completing the 6th Chapter in the game, you'll be able to unlock Weapon Crafting. When you reach to higher levels in the game, crafting can ultimately reward you rare elemental weapons which will generally improve your overall might. Weapons on its own can be upgraded, enhanced, and be endowed many improvements.

5. the Halidom - different buildings in the Halidom generally are used to improve your Characters and Dragons. For instance, there are the different elemental altars that gives passive bonuses to characters sharing the same elemental affinity. There are also the Dojos that improve the performance of specific types of Weapons - which will all help in improving the overall Might of your roster.
