How to get Silver (Money)

The in-game currency used in Assassin's Creed Valhalla is Silver and although not a critical resource you will want to have as much of it as possible as it will definately make progressing through the game easier. The reason being is that it will enable you to buy new gear, valuable resources to upgrade gear, cosmetics from merchants, and the means to employ the service of Jomsvikings so they join your Longship crew. The most important reason why you will want to get your hands on Silver is to use it to upgrade materials such as Carbon, Nickel, and Tungsten Ingots. These are the resources used to upgrade the gear your wear and it is essential that you your gear is continually upgraded and kept up to date as it can be the difference between surviving and dying in Assassin Creed's Valhalla's toughest fights, and during the course of this game you will be in your fair share of them.

There is no method in which you can farm Silver quickly in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the only way to get hold of a decent amount of it is to be as thorough as possible when you loot the game's open world. You basically have to search everywhere and leave no stone unturned when you raid and loot settlements during the course of the game. Don't just limit your searching for Silver, also keep an eye out for trinkets as these can be sold to merchants for large amounts of Silver. Remember also to search the corpses of the enemies you slay for Silver and trinkets, this process can be made a lot easier by having the Auto Loot skill.

There are of course several ways in which you can just earn Silver, the most obvious being fishing and hunting for animal parts and then selling them to merchants for Silver. You can track down hidden wealth by looking for the golden bars icon on your map. The golden bars indicate that there is somthing valuable in that area which more often than not will be a hidden chest with Silver inside. Another way in which you can get Silver is winning it by playing the drinking games, this though is a gamble as you can just as easily lose Silver by participating.
