Top Ten Unova Pokemon That Deserve A Mega Evolution

#5 - Unfezant

There always a point in our countdown where the mindshift changes from a number of reasoning behind many Pokemon to where desperation is the only concern. And this begins with and the exact case for Unfezant. Unfezant, to put it kindly, it terrible. It's found wanting in a number of areas, coming up short when compared to many of the other Bird Pokemon found early in games. Its good enough to help you through the main storyline of Black and White, but not much better for anything else. It needs a Mega Evolution as much as Pidgeot did at one point, as much as any other Pokemon on this list (outside of our top two selections).

As a Mega Evolution, we see Unfezant becoming quite different than most birds. We actually see it becoming uber defensive with the boost it receives, with smaller boosts in its Speed and Attack. You many be wondering why we would think so far outside of the box, but are reasoning is focused behind it be blessed with Gale Wings as its ability. Gale Wings would take Unfezant from the lower tiers of Pokemon, and put it right up there with Talonflame and Mega Pidgeot. It would be allowed to demolish everything in its path - outside of Rock and Ground Types - and would finally give it its fifteen seconds of rightfully deserved fame. No more would Unfezant be seen as just another early Bird Pokemon you get in the main storyline and never see again afterwards.
