Top Ten Unova Pokemon That Deserve A Mega Evolution

#6 - Hydreigon

You knew this was coming, especially since we literally just mentioned it in the pick before. Like we said, we all know Hydreigon will be getting a Mega Evolution one day, it is almost guaranteed. You know it, we know it, all Pokemon Fans know it. Tyranitar, Metagross, Salamence, and Garchomp have all gotten theirs, and it's really only a matter of time before Hydreigon, along with Dragonite and Goodra, get their fair share in Mega Evolutions as well.

Like Haxorus and all the other Pseudo Legendary Pokemon, Hydreigon doesn't necessarily need a Mega Evolution. Now that doesn't mean it's the greatest of these counterparts, but its not like it's the worst either. It has decent stats and decent power to do some real damage in the right situation. Will it wow you with all its hidden strengths? No. Can it get the job done? You better believe it.

As a Mega Evolution, we see Hydreigon dropping its Levitate Ability and gaining something completely original. We think it would be awesome to give it a type of Aerilate or Pixilate, but one that changes Normal Type Attacks into Dark Type ones. It would be awesome to see such a thing, especially for an all-powerful Pseudo Legend. Going on from that, we see Hydreigon receiving large boosts to its Speed, Attack and Special Attack, but still quality increases to it defensive stats. Mega Hydreigon will be able to dish out some fierce punishment, while still have the presence to tanks a few hits while it does.
