Top Ten Unova Pokemon That Deserve A Mega Evolution

#9 - Chandelure

Up next Chandelure, another Pokemon who doesn't need anymore help than it already has. From its extremely high Special Attack, to its decent bulk of defensive stats, Chandelure is pretty darn good Pokemon. Sure, it's lacking some speed, but it can always use the Choice Scarf to make up for that. It also has the ability to learn Flame Charge, which can also boost its mediocre Speed Stat. Chandelure had always been a pretty popular Pokemon like Darmanitan, but it too might never receive a Mega Evolution. There has been a few Pokemon like it, like Lopunny, who were never the best or worst to Pokemon to receive a Mega Evolution, but it's still a long shot. Here's hoping.

If it did receive a Mega Evolution, putting on our Pokemon Caps to try to think like the creators, we don't think Mega Chandelure would look very different than its regular form, from its appearance to its statistical breakdown. Some Mega Evolutions just don't change much from their original form, and that would reign for Chandelure as well. It most likely would remain a Fire / Ghost Type, but let's hope the creators would be nice enough to give Chandelure its Shadow Tag ability once again (though it technically never had it back in the Fifth Generation since it was never released). It would probably get huge boosts to its Special Attack Stat, as well as its defensive stats, but we don't think it would get any thrown to its speed. The creators could always take some of its Attack away and throw it a bone with its speed, even if it was just twenty points, but we doubt them doing that. Again, all Pokemon must have a Weakness.
