Gotta Catch 'Em All? Top 10 Pokedex Strategies

06. Wondercards

If you thought that the e-Card and Tickets scheme was just a historical footnote, think again! Sure the old scheme first used the e-Reader device and then used Mystery Gift Stations, but hey it is a new decade in a new century and the Wondercard has replaced those archaic schemes...

Yup, Nintendo is still using this system to distribute Event Pokemon and access codes via Wondercards that are saved in your in-game Wondercard Folder (you can have up to 24 before you have to start weeding them out) ..

For example in February players who were deep into their Alpha and Omega adventures but who wanted to ensure that they were able to get whichever of the Legendary is not in their game version could grab hold of their very own EON Ticket as insurance.

Once the EON Ticket was pasted into their Wondercard Album in the game (you can check the Card Album under the Mystery Gifts Menu off of the Main Menu in-game) - they can redeem it whenever they feel like - no need to stop playing or alter their game in the least.

To obtain that little bit of insurance all that was required was for them to get the code (2015LATIOSLATIAS) from either www.pokemonrubysapphire.com or in the News Section at Pokemon.com or any other Poke-Source and punch it into their game.

Once the code is entered and the Card pasted into their Album a delivery girl from Pokemon HQ will start loitering in the nearest Pokemon Center. To grab that special Pokemon (or in that case the associated access card) they simply need to go to the Pokemon Center in-game and accept the delivery. Easy-Peasy!

A Never-Ending Adventure

Did you miss-out on the EON Ticket? No worries mates, there will almost always be something else going on, something new to see and do, and a special Pokemon or three to be obtained via Wondercard!

In fact at the moment we are in the middle of a Wondercard Event for Alpha and Omega that will see you claiming your very own trio of Hidden-Move endowed Serperior, Emboar, and Samurott -- so how about that?

The codes for Serperior (POKEMON497) and Emboar (POKEMON500), and Samurott (POKEMON503) are already out so get em when you like!

Redeeming these codes (they are good through November 2015) will add the associated Wondercard e-Card to your game's Card album, and will cause the Pokemon to be “delivered” to a nearby Pokemon Center - just look for the special hat on the deliverator to find the person you need to talk to to claim your spiffy new Pokemon - and feel in-the-know as you have now experienced Number 6 on our Top 10 Countdown!
