Hey 7onewingedangel7. Final Fantasy X is one of my favorite Final Fantasy Games. It was the first one for the PS2 and was amazing. The main character, Tidus, is my third favorite Final Fantasy character. Here are the pro's and con's:
Pros: Great storyline. Turn-based (so no rush). Pretty good graphics. Blitzball (a sport that you can play for fun, very cool). Cool characters. Very straightforward (no world map so there's really only one way to go most of the time). Cool music. Lots of weapons. Sphere Grid System (The way you level up is a lot different. You gain Sphere levels that you use to move on the Sphere Grid, allowing you to raise certain attributes individually. Has a lot more freedom in the path that you can level up). Finally, it's fairly long so that you don't waste your money.
Cons: Not a lot of classic Final Fantasy Music (apart from the Fanfare of battles). Dialogue can be annoying sometimes. No world map (if you're into the world map thing, then this is a con. If not, it's a pro). There's an airship, but you don't directly fly it. Some parts are too easy (then again, some parts are pretty hard too). Enemy encounters will make you mad (you meet MANY monsters as you walk). Overall, it's a good game. Definitely worth buying.

It's a fun game to buy
Some of the pros are: Many Weapons, turn-based Battles giving you time to plan your next move, Spiffy overdrives, Some beautiful Cutscenes, Two different sphere Grids (Beginnger and Expert, I find the Expert Grid easier to use but that's just me =], hidden areas and aeons.
Some of the Cons are: No skip button during the Cutscenes which can be annoying, Loads of Random Encounters (Benefical if You enjoy levelling, makes further boss battles easier, but annoying if you just want to get on with it) The world map only really appears at the end when you have the airship but it's not really amazingly good.
Totally worth buying, even if you beat the final boss there is still so much to do =)
