I'm not sure I can help you but you might wanna check out some of the walkthroughs I was stuck on lots of those cloister of trials and the walkthroughs really helped me :-)

If you're at the Chamber of the Fayth bit where Dona and Bartello should be head towards the exit and the game will continue by itself. Ixion will then be part of your team
