What cheats are you talking about? The only cheats you can use in any FF are from cheat systems like gameshark.

You enter the cheats using the airship password coordinator. There are three passwords, they are:
GODHAND!
MURASAME!
Victorious!
The first password takes you to a special location, where you can find Rikku's Celestial Weapon, Godhand. The second password takes you to a select location, where a special weapon for Auron is, it is a good, strong, katana. The third password will take you to again, another special location. But this time, you will find Rikku's legendary armor. Those are all the codes.
