Now there may be a few of you who already know this, but here it is for those of you who don't, make sure you check everything every where you go and on every disk e.g. Some places require you to go some where on disk 2 then return on disk three so as you may have just worked out if you didn't go on disk 2 then you are most probably missing out on something realy rare and as the title to this sugests once in a saved game I hope everyone takes this into account and gets more out of there game by getting everything there is to get

Bogus Report:

This is just a guide where you will land after doing the snowbaording game.
You need to choose two times to turn left or right during the snowboarding game, heres where you will land on the Great Glacier (look at your Great Glacier Map):

Right, Right = Cave, bottom right side of map
Right, Left = Big Tree, middle part of map
Left, Right = Ice Gate, bottom of map
Left, Left = Crossroads in the forest just above the Ice Gate

Get 99 of basically every item you can think of, especially x-potions and antidotes, after that, get vincent to level 60, have him wearing the mime, and knights of the round materia, now enter the battle arena with him. Don't use K.O.t.R just yet, use it at about the 3-4 round, then use mime over and over, when you get to the 7th round, use his limit breaker(you should have gotten it during those battles) sometimes you'll break your command or summon materia, which sucks, but still use his limit breaker, you should survive, I did it about 15 times getting about 8k BP each time I went 8 rounds.

To defeat the last version of Seiphiroth (sorry about spelling) you do not need anything fancy. All you need is Cloud with his final weapon at level sixty or higher, Barret level sixty of higher, and Red XIII level sixty or higher. Load Cloud with a couple of HP plus, full cure, acouple of MP plus, and maybe one or two summons. Load Barret with most of the summons you want and some MP plus, and a few HP plus. And finally, load Red XIII with the rest of your healing/attacking materia and some HP plus and some MP plus. (If you can use two teams, you can do the same thing with your other characters.)These don't need to be followed exactly. You can have Barret with the healing/attacking materia and Red XIII with the summons. It doen't matter. All I'm really saying is you don't need KOTR to beat Seiphorith (again sorry).

Advice on Vincent's ultimate weapon

Unrated
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:

Vincent's Death Penatly deals damage determined by Vincent's kills multiplied by five. For example, if Vincent has killed 200 enemies throughout the course of the game, the damage dealt by his Death penalty will be 1000 HP, no matter who or what the enemy is, unless they use Barrier/Wall. A good way to boost Vincent's kill count is to give Vincent the Slash-All materia, and head to an area where you can encounter groups of five enemies, such as the Mythril Mines or the forest area outside of Junon.

Cloud's and Barret's ultimate weapons advice

Unrated
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:

Cloud's Ultima Weapon decreases in power the more health he loses. If you want his Ultima Weapon to pack an extremely powerful punch, you should keep him healed. A fully healed Cloud performing Omnislash with his Ultima Weapon will cause a cumulitive amount of damage, even more damage than the Knights of the Round summon.

Barret's Missing Score increases in power the more materia you load it with. This is quite an odd combination, as Barret should mainly be used as a physical attacker, but you'll cause a greater amount of damage the more materia he has in his Missing Score. Perhaps it's one of Squaresoft's tricks to catch you out. Barret performing Catastrophe (level 4 limit break) with his Missing Score overloaded with materia causes an immense amount damage to opponents, and is up to par or near-par with Cloud's Omnislash and Cid's Highwind.

Defeating Emerald Weapon

Unrated
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:

Hi everybody! Are you tired of repeatedly dying against Emerald Weapon?Well,I have the solution!!

First, choose your characters.I chose Cloud (obviously),Barret and Red XIII.
Second, equip these characters with their Ultimate Weapons and make sure they have their final limit breaks.
Third,equip materia:
Give Cloud Elemental-Lightning in a joined slot and also give him mime and a mastered HP plus.
Give one of your other characters (I chose Barret) Knights of the Round linked with MP Turbo and also give them W-summon and a mastered/4 star HP plus. You can give him mime ONLY if you have three of them.
Give your third character Mime and a mastered/4 star HP plus. Also give them a mastered Restore linked with All.
NOTE:If you use my tactic then you do not need the Underwater materia.

THE BATTLE:
Before the battle begins make sure that Cloud and the person who does NOT have Knights of the Round have flashing limit bars.As soon as you enter the battle use Omnislash and the other person's limit break. Then use Regen-All.After that use W-Summon and Knights of the Round.Mime it twice.Do NOT give a go to the original caster of Knights of the Round unless you have given him mime.If you did not give him a go then mime again with a different character. If you did not finish him off then all you need is one or two normal hits.Dont waste your time with another Knights of the Round unless you think you really need to and then your done!!!!Take the Earth Harp to the Kalm Traveler to receive your reward of Master Command,Master Summon and Master Magic!!!The Kalm Traveler is located in the rightmost building in Kalm that is not up the steps. You do not need the Underwater materia for the battle because if you use this tactic then you will finish with about 7 minutes and 45 seconds to spare! You will receive 50,000 EXP, 5,000 AP and 50,000 gil!Not too shabby! Please try and rate this as this is my first hint that I have given on Supercheats. Thanks in advance!!

Unlimited Elixirs. And Unlimited battle Items.

Unrated
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:

In the Great Glacier, if you keep going left from where you start, you'll eventually come across a cave with an Elixir in it. Grab it, but when the box appears at the top, don't push OK. Go back out the cave. You will still have that Elixir, and can go back in and repeat the process. It shouldn't take long to get 99.

But, if you're lazy, like me, you can use the W-Item trick. Get the W-Item Materia. Get into a battle. Now, use the W-Item command and select the Item you wish to increase, use it on someone and then select another Item. Now, press back and then select it again. The Item number of your first Item will increase by one. So, keep pressing: Ok, Back, Ok, Back, Ok, Back et cetera. Until you have 99 your desired item.

I'm not sure how easy it is to get in the game or not, but this is how I got it

Go the the Shinra Mansion and fight people until you fight these guys that look like old fashioned balances.(the kind that measures with weights on one side and then you put the gold on the other side to measure the amount.)you fight them till they use a move called "???". What the move does is divide your Max HP with your current HP to get the amount done to the enemy. Hope this works!!!

Tougher Enemies for Fast Leveling and AP

Bogus Report:

This glitch is exploitable after passing through Junion the first time and returning via the ship after completing the episode at Gold Saucer. Board the ship at Costa del Sol. Go to Junion and head away from the dock that the ship is at. Follow the main road to the tunnel that divides the city in two. In the tunnel there should be a number of Shinra soldiers drilling. On the left wall, there is a red box. Go up to it and press the action button. You should hear a siren going off. Walk arround and you will get into random encounters with enemies that aren't supposed to be encountered until Junion is attacked by Weapon on disc 2. You will probably need to use summons and magic contiuously during your first few battles to defeat the enemies. Don't forget to save money on potions, ethers, and pheonix downs by using the Junion Inn, which is also a good place to save.

Getting the Quadra Magic without a Chocobo

Unrated
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:

There is a way to get the materia "Quadra Magic" without having to breed a River Chocobo. You'll need the Highwind. Fly it to the most southwestern tip of land on the map and you'll notice a cave. Follow this back (Mideel way) until you get to a slightly upraised piece of land. Go as far as you can to the edge of the cliff. Face the Highwind south. Press the land button and quickly but lightly press R1. The Highwind should land half on the cliff and half off. You can now walk up to the cave and get the Quadra Magic.

Learning the Enemy-Skill Chocobuckle

Unrated
Verified by: Unverified
Bogus Report: gizmos9000

This question has recently been asked and I thought I'd put it up here for you all. I know. I'm great :p

This is no doubt the most difficult Enemy-Skill to obtain. First you must have the Enemy-Skill "L4 Suicide" which can be learned from the "Mu" enemies, and you must have 3 Mimett Greens. Now equip the "Chocobo Lure" and "Sense" materia and find a chocobo around the chocobo ranch area on the chocobo footprints, once you find one, use the sense command on the chocobo to see if it's level 16 (since "level 4 suicide" only affects targets whose level is a multiple of 4.) If it is level 16, feed the chocobo your three mimett greens and cast level 4 suicide on the stuffed bird, the chocobo will counter with "chocobuckle", hitting the one who casted "level 4 suicide". Finally, chocobuckle is yours.

Cactuar Ghost in Snowboarding Game

Bogus Report:

This takes a while and is quite difficult, I only discovered it yesterday...

Get a satisfactory score in all of the courses and a yellow balloon will appear near the start of the mini-game that activates Time Attack. Get through the Beginner Course and then choose to retry. Now, start Time Attack and go to the Beginner Course. There'll be a silver balloon there that increases your speed when collected.

Here's the tough part: You must set a record of under 00'54''000 on the Beginner Course. If you succeed, start Time Attack mode and pause the game. Go to options and then ghost. You'll notice a new "? ? ?" option at the bottom. Select it and a running cactuar will replace the moogle. The ghost and your record can be saved on your file. Happy Gaming People.

Bogus Report:

Well we all know about the very fun and exciting place to train right? Well if you don't it's in north crater. If you are around level 50-75 you should train in my favorite spot and thats around mideel (if thats how it's spelled) in the forest area with the head hunters and the funny looking bug like things. I really like this place because you can go to the town and buy alot of tents (if you have enough gil)and if you don't get w-item and get 1 mega-lixer and do the item cheat. And if you want you can train in the plane in the water around where emerald is. Sometimes emerald is waiting outside the plane and he looks like he guards it.

Well I hope this helps you train so you don't have to waste so many items in north crater. Really great knowing you don't have to use all your items on the enemies down there ain't it.

Emerald Weapon

08
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:

Emerald weapon; The way I did It, (the second time):

Initial preparation; As with Ruby weapon, I was level 99 with all my characters, and I used Cloud (obviously), Cid and somebody else. I had 9999 health and 999 mp. I had final attack and phoenix linked on everybody and 3 master materia's of every type on every character. I also had W-Summon with every character, and mime. (I had Cloud with his Apocalyspe, Cid with his scimitar and somebody else with a triple growth weapon. Everybody had a mystile and a ribbon equipped as well. (you get ribbons by morphing master Tonberries in the North Cave, and the Mystile's from various boxes in the North cave, and one before you go to fight Hojo, just before the mahousive staircase after you've fought the proud Clod)

If you have underwater materia, then you should equip it as it removes the time limit, however, I didn't have it at the time (you get it by morphing a ghost ship; located at the underwater reactor in the glass tunnel, or at the goldsaucer battle arena, hopefully, then taking the "guidebook" that you receive to the man in Kalm who swaps all your items)

I simply w-summoned knights of round, and mimed it, over and over and over and over and over and over and over...

Unless I died and did final attack, then I had to cast the summon again, obviously, or if I got a limit, then I used it.

Emerald's "Air Tam storm" attack is a son of a bitch, it ALWAYS hits all your characters, unless you have tifa who has managed to dodge it a MAHOUSIVE ratio of 1 out of the 64, 000 times I've fought him. And Since I always had lots of materia to level up for my other characters, the attack always did 9999 to us all. Luckily, final attack is a sexy move. (I read somewhere that this attack does 1111 for each piece of materia you have equipped..how true this is, I don't know, so don't hold me to it.)

Yes, and, off course, I cured myself when I needed it/when I could.

Using this method, I defeated emerald weapon in 16 minutes, 32 seconds, and so the underwater materia was not necessary.

This was especially fun when I defeated him, because I only attacked him for an excuse to turn the computer off at the time, and then I won. Simply, marvellous.

Hope that was sufficient enough for you.

Ruby Weapon

09
Verified by: unverified
Bogus Report:

There are three ways of doing it; The right way, the wrong way and the way I did it.

The way I did It:
Initial preparation; I was level 99 with all my characters, and I used Cloud (obviously), Tifa and Cid. I had 9999 health and 999 mp. I had final attack and phoenix linked on everybody (ensure you take this off before attempting step number two) and 3 master materia's of every type on every character. (I levelled up magic for 2, and defeated Emerald weapon for the third set). I also had W-Summon with every character, and mime. (I had Cloud with his Ultima weapon, Cid with his Venus Gospel and Tifa with her God hand (because I think it is better than her Premium heart). Everybody had a mystile and a ribbon equipped as well. (you get ribbons by morphing master Tonberries in the North Cave, and the Mystile's from various boxes in the North cave, and one before you go to fight Hojo, just before the mahousive staircase after you've fought the proud Clod)

Start off with two characters already dead (reasoning already been explained)

When Ruby plunges his hands into the ground, select w-summon, and cast Hades, then phoenix. HADES WILL PUT RUBY WEAPON IN STOP and phoenix will restore the life of both your other characters, (phoenix will also heal him by a couple of hundred hp or so, but that's not important, it doesn't need to be used from here onwards)

Attack his body, ignoring his arms, with w-summon, Knights of Round, and mime it, the only time you do not use this attack is if you either get a limit break, which you use instead, or if he comes out of "stop", in which case you cast Hades upon him again, then simple maul him with Knights of Round again, and again.

This is it. Not the most entertaining method, but definitely the most efficient.

Additional; The materia is only referred to as "knights of THE round" once, which is when you acquire it from the cave. At every other point in the game it is seen as "Knights of round" no "the" is present. Arguably, the name "Knights of The Round" could be the name of the materia, whilst "Knights of round" could be the name of the summon, however, every other summon materia is named after the summon, and it is exactly the same. Therefore, it is simply "Knights of Round", not "knights of the round". Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Bogus Report:

Ok to get your party members to be stronger just keep feeding them sources like power, speed, vitality and they will be stronger and much hard to kill in battle. I also have a question about the enemy skill materia does anyone have it mastered and if you do could you tell me what one i'm missing cause I have all but one of them.

Bogus Report:

Ok after you have cait sith and have completed the desert don't go to gongaga or cosmo canyon instead head back to cos le de sol(not sure how to spell it and before you enter the town out cait sith in your party he should have came with a materia called manipulate.

Put it on someone in your party go to the beach beside cos de le sol until you run in to a battle with a or some brown creatures with tentacles use manipulte on one of them and have then cast big guard on your party who ever has enemy skill on now has big guard.

Next get on the boat in cos de le sol and hewad back to junon now exit junon walk around until you run into one of those big creatures that has huge arms and attacks with black smoke manipulate it and have it cast white wind on your party who ever has enemy skill on will now know the great healing spell white wind.

Big guard- casts barier and mbarier on everyone

White wind -heals party and removes status effects

Back Attacks

Bogus Report:

In a battle, if you find yourself "back attacked", in order to make sure this is not the case, enable the "run" function for about half a second (Do this by tapping R1 and L1 simultaneously whilst in a battle). This will turn all your characters back around to face the enemy and will usually ensure that the character which receives the enemy's strike will not receive double damage.

A Good Party

Bogus Report:

If you want to have a good party,I should Recomend-
Cloud
RedXIII or yuffie or Vincent
Cid
Tifa, barret and cait sith arent well balanced thanks to there status and Ultimate weapons.
Cloud-Perfect in everything, but when you have low hp,strenght sort of drops.

Vincent-you could have him with Outsider weapon,if with Death Penalty, have him like a Secterm Wizard, have him with White Healing Magic,Black and Elemental Magic and summoner.

RedXIII-Perfect in almost eveything, have him just like cloud.
Yuffie-Good Speed,Luck,Attack nd Evasion,well-balanced but sort of lacks defense. You can have her whatever way you want, but I wouldnt put too much Materia on her.

Cid-Also a good character, however don't put too much magic on him only important stuff like Restore or Revive,Stuff like that.If you want a good balanced party,I suggest from these four pick three.

Final Battle

Bogus Report:

When fighting the sephiroth that look like an Angel [forgot his name] use every powerful Attack and just waste everything if you want like megalixir if you need to.Why well it's the Final Battle and you wont lose anything. And you should save the limit breaks that battle, kill him cause if you don't he will use supernova and it doesnt matter if you have high defense or MAX defense,it will do lots of damage and leaves youre party in a critical state. But if you have Final-Attack combined with phoenix, its a different story.

You Don't NEED great/good chocobos!

Bogus Report:

Odd? No, actually. You should know that as long as you have AT LEAST a good chocobo and a great chocobo, you can make the rest of the set up to Black, when you need a Wonderful one.

HOWEVER. If you have a male and a female Wonderful chocobo, you can use the exact same method, but the resultant chocobos should be better racers. And you can still make green & blue chocobos with them. This also helps because you can breed with the black chocobo regardless of its gender - because you are guaranteed to have its opposite gender!

The main drawback to only getting wonderful chocobos is that it's harder to find one of each gender; but I still do this every game, because chocobo racing can be fun and a good source of rare items - and it gets easier with the faster chocobos that this produces!
