I'm going to tell you how to get a huge amount of AP for materia first you need to be on disk 3.

Next equip the charatcers with the materia you want to level up and also give them weapons with double or triple growth. There is a shop in Junon not the slums bit but the twn above that, that sells everybodys weapons with double growth on them.

And finally you need an enemy lure materia mastered but done equip it yet otherwise youll have a long way down to the right area. Now that we've got that sorted go to the north crater go all the way down until you get to the place where you have to split your team up.

Now go to the left and on the next screen go in the first hole you see on your way down. While your in this place equip the enemy lure materia and the double growth weapons if you have'nt done so already and make sure the materia you want to level up are in the weapon slots and just keep walking around this hoel area don't go into the next area or the previus one justkeep running around going in fights.

In this area you will see these creatures in pots that ask for an elixir give them one then kill them you will get 1000ap for each one you give an elixir to an kill so just helping one of them will give you 2000ap. Also quite occasionally you will seeto of the pots in one fight so give them both an elixir each and this is an easy 4000ap.

But the bestmonster in this area are these 3 like RED BOUNCY BALLS kill these and with your double growth you will get a huge 4800 AP.

(note that after you have finished the battle with one of these creatures it will display the normal AP but the materia on your double growth weapons will get double that)
