my cheats dont work

Ok I need help my cheats don't work I put them in correctly but I'm not sure if it's because a different game I have The Sims 2 Pets Stories the only cheat that works is "motherlode" and that gives you money nothing else works for me and to open my cheat box is ctrl+shift+c is any thing I can do I guess is there cheats

I think that is the only cheat you can use on it, I advise you keep looking otherwise but I cannot get anything else to work either :( sorry this didn'y really help much x
