Game Disc Problems?

I recently bought The Sims 2 Pets and am having a bit of trouble. The game will get stuck loading the screen before the main menu, sometimes it gets a little farther and I can start a profile and then it gets stuck again, the music is playing and the loading icon is moving but it stops there. Got any ideas?

Well I think that either there is a problem with the disk or your ps2. If you have the big, old ones then it's probably your ps2, hoped I helped

me, i think that the problem is in the cd and ps2 . you should ficse your ps2 and buy another cd of the sims2 pets

If your playstation plays other games then the problem might be just the disk. On my sims 2 pets game, I bought it new but it skipped a little when it was loading like yours. I just took it out and carefully washed the disk. Also, when I cleaned my playstation 2's eye thingie that reads the disk with a Q-tip, that helped A LOT. Hope this helps! :D

UGH!!!! That happens allways when I get it at hastings. But I got it now and if you got it at hastings then return it. And try do get it a diffrent store
