You can skip the goal if you have 5 LP. Make sure you have the toddler update, though. It is free!

Go into the store and as it says it is connecting then you hit the home button which will take you home to your device. Then go back into sims and hit cancel to the store. Then go back into the store and everything is free. If this dosent work then wait a bit and try again

so when we go into sims and press the 2 card things at the top left hang corner lp and doller cards, when it says connecting we press the iphone middle button.. we then go back to sims and press cancel connection and go into the hobby store and everything is free? why doesnt this work on mine?

You don't go in the hobby store, you just go in the store (the one with the two cards thingy) and everything in there is free, which means you can buy as many LP and simoleons you want, and then go ahead and buy the RC boat :D

Use PAROS to trap the proxy and change the value RECEIVED back from the server. Get 9999999999 LP etc. Then buy the boat.. The server doesn't rectify this, so you can do this for everything! Boom.

Buy a boat from the hobby shop. 50 lps! And take a sim to the park and tap on the pond. A boat should appear!

It doesn't work on mine either. When I went back to sims to cancel the ''connecting to store", it says "error 1111....".

Does anyone know how much the rc boat costs now? I'm hearing 50-55 LPs. I currently have 67 LPs and I was saving them to but the castle. But I'm currently on the rc boat goal. Don't wanna waste them all if I need to buy the boat. Any help is appreciated. Thankss!!

How do you skip this goal? I have been stuck on this goal for days. I have already spent money on this game and now I have the unrecognized Sim bug on my last to Sim/House additions... I think the game is going to crash soon anyway unless they fix this problem so I certainly don't want to spend anymore real money.. Anyone have any answers on the unrecognized Sim add bug? I have now added a total of about 24 Sims at two houses, none of which are recognized in the game except that I can earn money with them.. also I haven't earned any LP from my pets SINCE the bug happened - so I am even further from that RC boat.. I wonder if they do these things on purpose.. I will be deleting the game this time if it crashes.. already built up two cities and this time I have a LOT of time and some real money invested.. NOT HAPPY!!! EA PLEASE FIX!

All you have to do is click on the goal than click on the arrow on the left of the box -- this will allow you to skip to the next goal

Does the cheat for the free lp's and the simoleons not work on the iPad? I tried it several times and everything still appears with the prices :-( does it also have to do with the fact that I updated to be able to have babies and get married? Someone help!!

What I done was: about a week passed, and still didn't know how to complete the mission, and when there was a new version of the sims I upgraded and it moved me onto the next mission. Basically; wait till there is a new upgrade, then go into the app store >> upgrades, and upgrade the sims. Good luck

Just go to the other end of the river and there you'll see the rc boat. It will take you 30mins to "play with the rc boat". Oh well, I wasnt able to find it at first too that I decided to skip it by using 5lp :(
