How do I make my SIM go to work? People say press the briefcase and I kind of got that right away but I can't press it for some reason. Anyone have the same problem or an answer?

U can only send them to work when the briefcase is flashing which is only when the time for work is correct, hope this helps

Also when it is flashing make sure that there in no activity that your sim is currently doing that will prevent him or her from going to work, yeah and also the fact that it must be work hours, ( briefcase will flash during those times)

It is the right time to go to work but my sims can't go to work =(

The flashinng briefcase you need to click to make your sims go to work isnÂ´t the briefcase on the main screen, but it appears on the sim that needs to got to work after you click on the sim panel thingy on the main screen. Hope that helps

For some reason,wether it's android or just my xoom. The brief case (the one next to the individual sim pic) is not flashing. Were as on my iphone it flashes perfectlly and when pressed it's replaced the ! With a tick. Maybe an issue an update will have to fix on android.

After updated to the latest version, I faced the similar issue. There's no flash alert when it was the time to send the sim to go to work. I tried re-start my iPad, even deleted it and re-install the game (backup in ICloud) anybody knows how to solve this? Please help. Thx so much

My sim that I'm trying to send to works, bars are all full and it's time for him to go to work. No blinking brief case anywhere on the career tab, sim tracker tab, or anywhere else. I have no idea what to do. It is my current task "Send a Sim to work". Unfortunately I can't get any of my sims to go during their time slot. Someone help please!!

I have the new Social Update and stumbled upon this solution:

Open Sims Freeplay like normal at a time when Sims are normally prompted to go to work (I.e. 11am for politicians). Then exit the game (without closing it fully, like no double clicking and clearing it from the app bar if you have an iPhone, just minimizing it). Next, open up settings, and change the date on your phone by bumping it up one day. So if it's a Tuesday, change it to tomorrow, Wednesday by moving the date up one day. Then go back to the game and the prompts to send your sims to work should be there!

I only have problems with that with my couple/married sims.. Maybe they can't go to work cause there will be no one to take care of the baby..

I can only send 3 sims to work which starts at 10:00 AM. But I can never send my other 7 sims to work which starts at 12:00 PM. I changed the dates around but it never works for my 7 sims but only for my 3 sims.

I'm having the same problem. 3 of my sims can go to work which starts at 10:00 AM but my 7 sims can't go to work which starts at 12:00 PM. I changed the dates around but that only work for 3 of my sims.

Sims have career aspirations just like you! Different jobs have different work times so choose one that suits your life style. Press the pulsing briefcase in Simtracker or the Career Info panel if you'd like to send them to work when it's the right time to starting time. Don't worry the game will remind you too!Â

The times and dates on my phone have been changed around alot, I started planting onions (7hrs) and started building the car showroom (24hrs long), the dates on my iphone had been changed forward and back again, when I came back to it after 24 hours the timer was still going only in negative seconds from 0 to -59 then back to 0, I had to use 24LP to complete the construction even tho the timer said 0 and the ones planting had finished (timer on 0) but they hadnt completed it so I had to spen 1LP to finish the planting or simply cancel it... The other problem is that the only sim I can send to work is one I created 2 days ago, with the other sims, 9 wont go to work and I don't even get a msg saying it's time to work and the briefcase doesnt flash, and I can't send the preteen sim to college... Anybody know how to fix this without restarting??? Please help!! ???
