Added:

This serves as the combo breaker of the game, through a wager system. It is performed by doing f + MB while your character is being hit. Also it can only be done once per match, and only when both characters are already on their second life bar. A Wager system with a time limit will be initiated. Before the time runs out, players will wage their Super Meter bars against each other, and the player who will bet more bars will win the Clash. Each bet has a corresponding button indicated on the area where each player's super meter bars were located before.

The player who initiates the Clash will be the defender, while the player attacking before will be the attacker. If the defender wins, he will gain some life back, while if the attacker wins, he will deal even more damage to the defender. The higher the number of super meter bars that you've won in the Clash, the more damage dealt or life regained you will win.

You can choose to wager any number of super meter bars that you currently have, and you can even bet all of your super meter bars, or none at all. Finally, you can also bluff and make a "fake" bet by pressing MB during the Clash instead of the 4 main buttons. This way you will not spend any meter, but your screen will seem to show that you've made a bet, wherein actually you didn't at all.
