Prince Pikante's Peppery Mood

The early platforms will sink into the lava if you hang out for too long so keep a move on. Ride the yellow platform to the end and then long jump to the button. Ground Pound it to freeze the whole area. Use the Launch Star.

Ride the platforms over the lava until you are under the Comet Medal and then simply jump up to claim it.

Spin attack the green orbs back at the 5 enemies across the way. Then skate across the ice flakes, being careful becausethey do melt, and then on to the boss.

BOSS: PRINCE PIKANTE
Just keep away from him and spin attack the green balls back at him. After a while he'll launch balls into the air. If you can pick them out you can spin attack those also. Always be moving because Pikante likes to try to ram you also.

You have Rainbow power so it's pretty easy to get everyone the first time. Just take wide turns otherwise you slide too much trying to stop.

After turning the lava to ice skate all the way back to the end of the area to a green pipe. The pattern is always the same. Just rotated so you can learn the pattern and go the right way.

Green Star #1 after freezing the lake use the Cloud Flower to get to the middle volcano. It's at the top.
Green Star #2 is on the far right side of the sliding rocks area on the path after the Launch Star.
Green Star #3 is at the end. But you need to get the Cloud Flower from the beginning. If your backflips are good you can get away from getting there with only 1 Cloud left. But 3 is best. You have to make it through the spinning rocks without losing it. Then it is above the 1UP on the cloud on the left at the start of the Lava Meteor section.
