QUEST REWARD: 100 EXP, NCR Fame
QUEST OUTLINE:
1. Recon the Nipton Town Hall for Ranger Ghost.
2. Return to Ranger Ghost at Mojave Outpost.
Talk to Ranger Ghost on the roof of the Barracks in the Mojave Outpost. She asks if you want a job, humbly accept to initiate the quest. Head over to Nipton which you should have passed during the Main Quest and speak with Vulpes Inculta who also starts a side quest Cold, Cold Heart. This will update your current quest, simply return to Ranger Ghost for an easy [100 EXPERIENCE POINTS] and NCR Fame.

Hi my names Thomas, and I have had about the same problem. See I went to niption and the legion shot at me because earlier I defended a caravan group from them. So one they attacked me I killed them. and from what I read your supposed to talk to a legionary about the attack to complete the quest. Now I am stuck at the part of searching town hall, witch I have already done. please help me with completing this quest.
I've got a question, I did this quest, but when I went to Nipton the Legion shot at me (I had my NCR outfit on) so I killed them. Then when I returned to Ranger Ghost to complete the quest she turned hostile and started attacking me, but only when I got within about 5 feet of her. I completed the quest by reloading a fast travel save from a few minutes earlier (after I killed the Legion) and jumping towards her really fast and talking, but she still shot at me. I ran away (not killing her) but now I notice that even though my NCR faction is neutral I get attacked by certain named NCR for no apparent reason. Ranger Ghost, the Ranger that is in the motel room in Novac, Crimson Caravan Traders/Guards etc. and this is getting pretty annoying. Did I screw myself? Is the game just glitched? Any clue? Anybody?
