Could some one please tell me how to get a shiny magikarp because I have tried the breeding trick and that does not work either. Do I just have to look for it?

There is like 0.10% chance you will come across a shiny Pokemon so you have to search for hours to get one. I spend 8 hours looking for a gold onix and it is so cool

The most easier way would be to use a gameshark well I use a pro but it doesn't matter.

If you want a Shining Magikarp in Silver version, just use HRBEK's method. If you have Pok'emon Stadium 2, just mask a female Magikarp as a Shining Gyarados, and it will automatically become a Shining Magikarp with no further intervention required. If you don't know how to mask Pok'emon, search it up; the procedure is simple and does not require any kind of code device.
