There are 26, after you catch three in the caves. A man should come to you and give you a new Pokedex.
Oh the unkown have to be with you for this to happen.
There are 26 Unknown in Silver, A-Z. Find them in the Ruins of Alph after you've solved the puzzles of Aerodactyl, Kabuto, Omanyte, and Ho-Oh.
There are 26- one for every letter of the alphabet. You get them in the Ruins Of Alph.
There are 26 unknown pokemon found in the Ruin of Alph, and if you catch them in Alphabetical order something will happen.
