How do you get the Pokemon to beat Clair?Does it work to use a Dragonair against her? What about Swinub?Can you use fire Pokemon against her?

A Dragonair might be helpful, dragon Pokemon are weak against dragon attacks. Swinub's alright, it knows ice attacks and can help with damaging Clair's Pokemon. Lapras is still better. It's found deep inside Union Cave on Fridays.

Use Ice and Dragon Type attacks against her Pokemon. Try not to use Dragon Type Pokemon directly against her, because her Dragon Pokemon will work against yours with their own set of Dragon attacks. A Remorade or Octillery with Ice Beam would be perfect.

Catch ice type Pokemon in ice path. Yes if it knows a good dragon type attack. If it is at a good level.I would not recommend it.

You can use any Pokemon, as long as they're trained well. But the best strategy is to use ice-type attacks, or dragon-type attacks delivered from a non-dragon-type Pokemon. Or, you could use Pokemon that resist Dragon (Steel-types), and hit her for neutral damage.
