If you're going to do the Missingno glitch through a GameShark, why don't you just select the item you want to have many of, then activate the code to obtain 99 of that item? There isn't much purpose in accomplishing the Missingno glitch through a GameShark when you could just as easily copy the same thing over with, however less ease, a more effective and less risky factor.

You could test it out by encountering a 'Catch and Pokemon' code for Missingno, but this is Silver Version, remember, so any chances of it working will not be amongst the most likely of possibilities to occur. The Missingno glitch is found in Pokemon R/B/Y.
