Glitch? Or something worse...?

There's something weird going on with my game now, I last saved at some cave, when I left, I tried going to Goldenrod right after, well, on my way TO Goldenrod, the game glitched up, restarted, and then the colors were distorted and stuff, so I just dismissed the problem for then, turned the game on and off, retried, and it did the same thing. Now it just does it over and over, sometimes not restarting at all.
 Oh, PLEEEEASE tell me it isn't permanent or something! Please tell me my save file is just corrupted and that that's all!
 I can get back to where I was fine with my gameshark, I just wanna know if it's just my save file before I restart!
 Please...help..me...! =(

It is most likely because your using a Gameshark. They sometimes mess your game up pretty bad and corrupt it, and thats whats happened here. So yeah, you'll have to restart because it will keep doing it.

If you create a new one, it should be fine.

If I were you, I'd either buy an Action replay which are much safer, or stop cheating. The likelihood is that it will happen again.

Yeah.gamesharks are evil.i recomendtrying to continueing the story in the game,and if you save some where else mit might fix.save without gameshark.it might be that the gameshark screwed up youre gameboy.if you gamee keeps doing that color thing.and if does it after you start a new game,then it's youre gameboy or the game
