Can anyone help me? How do you get the power plant generator from the gym that misty runs?

You go to the Gym and surf in the little square of water you then face the middle and press A and it will tell you that you foundsomething and it is the generator piece.

Go to the cape where you battle all cool trainers on your way up you will see a dude in black talk to him then battle and win and he will tell you where he hid it then go back to gym and use surf on the left side and swim for about 2 min and then get out of water and wala you hav it
