deleted!!!!!!!!!!!!

My save got deleted one day. And when I want to start a new game every time I try to save it seemed to work, but when I go to play it the next day the save;s gone. Iv had this game for about 6 years. Is it because it's too old and it's breakiing down. Why is it doing this. Is there a way I can get my old saves back?

My guess is that the battery has one flat in your game cartridge. You may be able to buy a new battery for it, or go to a jeweller's or watch makers and have them install one for you (thyre small and you need tiny screwdrivers.

But sorry to say this, the games are only saved using the battery... And I think you have lost your saves. :(

The same thing happened to my friend a while back, same game, same problem. He took it somewhere, and they did something to it, but I don't know what, but it worked again. Try going to a games store, and see if they know anything about that. Another reason might be because the Gameboy's internal battery has run dry, when you turn on the game you should see a message related to the internal battery.

It will say that the internal battery has run dry, and because of this timed events will no longer be saved. You can still play the game, but it won't actually save your saves. So see if you can replace the battery somehow, that is all I've got. Hope I helped.
