I have a few questions for you:

<BR>1.how do I get in to the huge patch of grass next to my home town? Apparently my friends say you can catch mews and ho-ohs. But I don't really belive them.

<BR>2.how do I get entei, raikou and suicune because I really need them!

You cannot get into the grass witout an action replay and I fon't know it. You cannot get entei, raikou or suicune in blue they did not exist when the game was made so you cannot trade them from golr or silver either. You can get the ledgendry birde Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos though.

There's a way to get Mew and ho-oh to get Mew go to house that is locked I can't remember what route that is I think that's in the rigth side of celadon.theres many trainers first face that locked house and fly into the cerulean city then go trough ahead there are many trainers there and let battle to the one boy that have a Pokemon slowpoke only so don't let battle her when you go the bills house just reserved her when you get mew.after you battle her go to the cerulean gym by walking only and when you are now in the middle of the bridge..press the start menu and see your Pokemon and the menu will close and a wild Mew will apper don't worry it's just lvl 4 or 14-30.You can also get ho-oh first cut a tree after that stand on the place where you vut a tree then save.and turn off the game then continue to the place where you are standing and you haved saved the game.then find a ditto in only three minutes catch it and save the game.turn off the game and start a new game and you will be shock!! You are now have ho-oh in Pokemon party.try this cheats it's true!

Yoou can not get into the grass
And
You can not get suicune entei or raiokou.

you can't get ho-oh, suicune, raikou, or Entei in pokemon Red Blue or Yellow.

The grass through the walls in the route after pallet has no pokemon and if you step in it your game crashes

To get Mew use the mew trick
