Help me please!
 
 I turned on my gameboy so I could play Pokemon blue version but then I saw that the continue option was gone.
 
 I made a new file and saved and when I turned on my gameboy the continue option was still gone! If anyone knows how to fix this or what happened please tell me.
 
 Also, if anyone out the knows where to buy a Pokemon blue version (in a store not like on ebay or some other website like that) please tell me.

I have no idea about why it went away but it has never happend to me

Get the game in all good game stores i.e Game, HMV, even Asda sells it

These are reasons why you might be having this problem:

1) Maby you're game's too old.
2) If you encounter Missingno, that may happen.
3) The game may be programmed incorrectly.
4) The game might have gotten damaged.

Why do you need to know where to buy Blue if you already own it?

Incidentally, I happen to know much about your problem.

It could be any of the following:

1. There is a memory battery inside of regular GameBoy and GameBoy Color games, and the battery may have died
2. The GameBoy was subject to a power surge perhaps while the battery was charging
3. Missingno, the in-game data administrator, may have altered itslef incorrectly through a data input and recalculation process, destroying or obscuring it's ability to save and restore game files
4. The batteries in the GameBoy, upon explosion, could destroy the game
5. Capturing Missingno could rupture it's saving controls
6. The Game Pak is defective
7. The game could be permanently sapped of it's data control due to a, unmoderated surge of glitches from a GameShark after inputting a dangerous code
8. The GameBoy may be impaired of it's ability to create commands to Save the game dues to destructive or glitchy codes from a GameShark or some other source
9. The GameBoy could be defective
10. The Game Pak or GameBoy could be damaged due to abuse
