How and where do you get a pikachu????? I love that little guy! And also is squirrtle a good starting pokemon??

ANSWERS

You can either get pikachu from a trade or I think it's by viridian city at night when you go up towards pewter city.
Also squirtle isnt a very good starting Pokemon I don't think. I would prefer bulbasaur because then you cand efeat the gyms easier

Let's see, I believe you find Pikachu in the Viridian Forest, but I can't be sure about it...

I once saw one in varidian forest, the first grass you see on the left, so I'm pretty sure there there. They are hard to find (believe it or not).

Hello,
I know that these people are correct , but the easiest way to catch a high level pikachu is to go to the power plant. If you don't know where that is simply go to where the dark cave is, go up to that patch of grass,go through the opening , use surf, go right , down , and left and you will be there.

Of course you have to go up to get to the land.

Anyway, if you don't have surf, and you don't know where it is, go to the safari zone in fuschia city, go to the end of the paths, go into the secret house and talk to the man, he will give you hm 03 , surf.

To get a pikachu go to the power plant. Oh and it doesnt matter what Pokemon you get the other guy will always pick one stronger but I thing charmander is the best
