For an Omanyte, you have to get the claw fossil.

Omanyte: When you are inside of Mount Moon, grab the Helix Fossil, and have it ressurrected at the lab on Cinnabar Island.

Mew: Use the Mew Glitch.

Well... Omanyte you have to get the claw fossil and mew.................................oh yes.

You have to not battle the yongster* facing up after nugget bridge and don't battle the gambler facing the door way to the unground road at lavender.go to that, go inside and step outside ONE STEP so the gambler doesn't see you. SAVE. Take one step down and IMMEDIATLY press start. If done correctly he wont see you. Fly to cerulien and right before you fly away he will see you, and then you will leave.

Notice at cerulian start screen doesnt work go up and battle the yongster* MAKE HIM WALK!! If you talk to him or stand next to him the game will freeze. Battle and win then fly to lavender go back to the underground house and eventually the start screen will come up right after you leave lavender borders prees b and you will encounter a lv 6 or 7 (i can't remember) mew!!!

Try it out. PS: if you battled those guys you will have to start over your game.

Let me clear this up... For Omanyte, you get the Helix Fossil, not the Claw Fossil. Okay?
