Well there is the Missingno trick. Talk to the main at the museum, then go to the island were the 7th gym(fire gym), surf on the bar on the right up and down. Missingno appears, what ever is in the 6th place in your bag it duplicates so many times, usually the number of the level of the Missingno.

No you go to the man in viridian (when you can surf) about how to catch Pokemon when he says are you in a hurry say no and surf or fly to cinnabar isle an surf on the water to the east side and have the master ball in the 6th spot in your bag youll look like your surfing have island have watter a Pokemon battle will ouccur and it will say missingno or a messed up fuzzy name (if a poke mon lv 100 + appears catch it or leave it ) don't cach missingno it might corrupt your game, run from misingno your master ball or any item (dont' use items like hm because they don't have duplicets ) will be 9 plus a little fuzzy thing.
