Date of Question: Jan 10 2009 | Question ID: 136455 Ok I did the missingno glitch several times and got over 100 master balls, nuggets and bicycles (by mistake). I also caught a Mew and a lv 123 bulbasaur cos my player name ends in a Z. I looked at my hall of fame a few mins ago and seen something well weird. Instead of my pokes I saw some mad sort of name. Sometimes even my rivals name like -y7fj//'.markty--fjfksfh95456.,., and instead of my original pokes I saw a random poke, a pixillated block or even simply nothing. The names pokes and even type match ups were always different but the last one for some mad reason is always a lv 70 fearow type normal/flying. My question is what is the reason for this and will it have any other affect on my game.

Dont worry thats the only side affect caused by the missingno cheat, I havent heard of anything worse than that ever happening or any more damage to be done, I have only heard that more damage is possible if you catch a missingno

Well this happened because you used the Missingno Glitch. The glitch forces Pokemon to appear according to you name. Have no fear however, the glitched hall of fame is a normal side effect. Your game should not get screwed up beyond that.

It is a normal response to the Missingno glitch and will not effect your game anymore unless you capture missingno.

I did the Missingno glitch and it happened to me. It's only a side affect, so don't worry about it.

There are no side effects of doing this cheat in the game as long as you do not capture Missingno. This would cause game problems.
