you have to have the swim cabability. first put a rare candy as your SIXTH item. then fly to Veridian. Then talk to the guy that teaches you how to catch a pokemon and listen to what he has to say. then right after he finishes fly to cinnabar island, walk to the right side of the island and swim up and down the side not going all the way down. after a while MISSINGNO. should appear. he could be in between the levels 0 and 142. so make sure your pokemon are strong.you can catch it but it will gradually release the pokemon that you have captured. if you catch a level 0 you can give it a rare candy and it will evolve into a level 1 Kanguskan. also when you are swimming up and down watch out for the gardian pokemon because they are very strong.

NOTE:To change color you need a GBC or GBA

To change color press up on your pad then it will go RED

To change color press down on your pad then it will go ORANGE

To change color press left on your pad then it will go BLUE

To change color press right on your pad then it will go GRREN

Talk to the man who teaches you to catch Pokemon then fly directly to cinnabar surf along the very edge only.

When you see a missingno you now have infinite of the item in your 6 slot WARNING do not catch Missingo it may currupt your file however if it doesnt it will evolve into a kangaskan that knows fly also you may find Pokemon over lvl 100 such as mewtwo snorlax chansey possibly a Mew (very rare) and many more.

First you must of not beat the youngster who has the slowpoke when you are going to bills house(in the beginning) or the gambler between celadon and lavender. And you must have fly, and you need a weak Pokemon to weaken mew.

You also need ultra balls and(if needed a masterball) Go through the underground passage between celadon and lavender,stop right there when you get out,save the game, after walk one step down and immediatley press start.

(If you did this right the gambler shouldnt of notice you.) Go to a Pokemon with fly and fly to cerulean city.notice that start doesnt work. Walk up the nugget bridge and find the bow with the slowpoke. Beat his slowpoke. (start will work again.) fly to lavender town.

Walk to the passage to the left. Your start menu will appear. DO NOT SAVE THE GAME. Instead press b. A level 7 Mew will attack you. Once your done save the game. Good luck

You know what MissingNo is? Hes not a glitch! There are 256 possibilities in the Pokedex, so since there are only 151, MissingNo is for replace there other slots (MissingNo -> Missing Nummer)! You can catch, theres no problem, it will only mess your Hall of Fame, but who cares about that?? 'M, now he really is a Glitch, don't catch it!! (Hes also known as Glitch Block).. You can use the 129 itens cheat with MissingNo, no problem..
The Pokemon programers forgot to define whos Pokemon could appear in MissingNo spot, so there can appear Glitches ('Ms and over 100 lvl pokemons)..
There are even Ghost, Kabutops and Aeorodactyl fossils MissingNo, your name defines that...

Stupit Glitches and Tricks, huh?

I swear that this is real. To find all the starters, use this name (I can't write the female sign on this computer, so it's represented by +. But + really means the female sign.): A+(+u+k
That name is case-sensitive, by the way.

If you make it all caps, you'll see wild abras and kinglers instead of Porygon and Charizard.

When you get to pick a Pokemon from Oak, choose Squirtle because you can't catch wild blastoise with this cheat. You will have no trouble against the first gym with this pokemon.

When you get to cerulean city, heal at the Pokemon center. If you have 6 Pokemon in your team, deposit the weakest one. Then go up to the bridge to fight the rival and the 5 trainers (you can heal if necessary). After beating the rocket, hold up button until you hit the ledge. Then hold left until you're hitting the cliff. Then go down into the patch of grass. Make sure the trainer in the grass doesn't see you. Look in the grass until you see Abra. Throw a pokeball at it. If you're lucky, it will be caught. Teleport back to the Pokemon center. Go up the bridge again. At the other end of the bridge, walk to the left so you're just above the water. Walk left so you're 1 step to the left of the corner of the water and 1 step above the corner. Save now, because it gets tricky and you WILL NOT be able to save for a short while.

Now, go 1 step down and hit "start". Go to "Pokemon", choose Abra, and use Teleport. If you did it right, the other trainer will get a ! Over his head then you will fly away. Now, go to the gym. Walk on the dock so the first swimmer sees you and comes to fight. Beat him, then leave the gym. Walk onto nugget bridge, You will see a Mew at level 7!!! Unlike all the other Mew tricks, this one really works!!!

Just play through the game until you have the Master Ball, Strength, Surf and Fly. Fly to Celadon City and buy 5 poke dolls from the big mart. Fly to Pallet Town and surf to Cinnabar Island. Go in and back out the Pokemon center. Fly to Viridian city. Move the Master Ball to the sixth slot in your team. Talk to the man who shows you how to catch pokemon. Say "no" and watch him catch weedle.

Fly to Cinnabar Island. Go to the right edge of the water and surf up and down the very edge of the island. You will see Porygon, Charizard and Venusaur at level 245. Use poke dolls on them, you have no chance in a fight. Wait until you see a Pokemon that is a staticky block called "Missingno." or "-[]M-[]" Use a pokedoll. Now you will have []9 master balls. The symbol means 12.

You have 129 master balls! Now you can catch the level 245 Pokemon and have Blastoise, Mew, Porygon, Charizard and Venusaur. You can catch the legendary bird Pokemon in the Power Plant east of Cerulean, the Victory Road, and in the Seafoam islands. There will be a maze to get to them, but once you find them you can catch them with master balls!

To get Mewtwo, beat the Elite Four (it's easy with a level 245 Charizard!) then go to Cerulean (Cerulean is a hotbed for catching rare pokemon. Don't ask why.) There is a cave a little to the west (not mount moon). Go in and it will be a big maze with level 50+ Pokemon, even ones that are only in the safari zone! Go through the maze and eventually you will find Mewtwo. Use a master ball.

Follow these tips and you will have 9 super-rare pokemon!

More fun stuff (Warning. These may mess up your game):

Take the name A+pk+mn+? to find wild Proffesor Oak, Gary and Rocket!! By pk and mn, I mean the symbol with 2 letters in 1 that you can get in your name. By +, I mean the female sign.

Take the name A.w.x.y for wild pokemon that are undead!!! Their names will be "Missingno." and catching them messes up your graphics, but they look like ghosts and skeletons!

To get these wild pokemon, use the "talk to Weedle catcher, Surf on right of Cinnabar Island" trick. If you try to catch wild Proffessor Oak, Gary or Rocket, it's not my fault if your game messes up (One thing that always messes up is hall of fame. It will say you used people and glitches to beat the Elite Four).

First you have to get an Articuno(On the Seafoam Islands)then get the TM for blizzard from the Seafoam islands and teach that to Articuno, then you have to beat the first three Elite four guys, then when you get to Lance, use all your other pokemon(Make sure you have some revives to revive them later to face you know who)first to defeat as much of Lance's Pokemon as you can, then get out Articuno use blizzard on the rest of Lance's Pokemon and there you have it.

In the safari zone, near the wardens house, go and push "A" in front of the first statue on the right. You will get a potion, but it is probably useless this far in the game. It also works on yellow and blue.

IF you beat the youngster with the slowpoke and the gambler well your in luck. If you still havent beat the guy who says I saw your feat from the grass this cheat is for you. Have an abra with teleport. GO to the guy and press start befor he sees you. Teleport.Now go to Misties gym and battle the first trainer. MAke sure he/she walks to you. Battle and win. Use teleport. Walk to nugget bridge. Your start menu will pop up. Press b and battle/catch him

Do the Missingno. Cheat to get more items, except on Tm's like Ice Beam, Thunderblot, etc., items like Carbos and Protein and others and Rare Candies. Get the best Pokemon to a level you like(50-60) and the best Tm moves. Give them the up items(Carbos,etc.) and there you go, ultimate pokemon.

Well, this really only works if you have Pokemon Stadium for N64.

1. Save your gave at a Pokemopn Center. 2. Go to The Lab on Pokemon stadium9 with your gamepak in).
3.Transfer you Pokemon the the N64.(oNe will have to be left behind)
4.Start your game over.
5. Transfer all you POkemon back into your gamepak BOXes.

What does this do? Say in your last game, you have a Charmander as you starter Pokemon, and you evolved you evee into Vaporion. This time you can get Bulbasaur, and Joltion, Repeat these steps. Next time You choose Squirtile, and evloved evee into Flarion. Next thing you know you don't have you comprimise. This also works with choosing between Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan and the Helix and Dome fossils.

Ok if you want to get glitch city full of glitched up Pokemon,follow these intructions!!!,

1)First off, if you have had the ss anne sail off already. Start a new game

2)when you reach the captain and receive cut,then lose a battle.

3)you will go back to the Pokemon center.

4)beat lutenat (sp) Surge and continue playing game normaly

5)as soon as you have HM04,strength,and HM03,surf, go back to vermillion city

6) go to the S.S. Anne and surf to the right

7)Use strength on the truck and you find a ladder!

8)go down the ladder to find a glitched up world.


P.S.dont go bogusing this as soon as you're done reading it!

MISSINGO is actually a glitch. The glitch is activated when you do the unlimited item cheat. If you only see Missingo and you run away your hall of fame will be all messed up, the same goes for killing it. But if you catch it your Hall Of Fame, Trainer Card, and Battle Graphics will be all messed up.

If you catch him and put him in your party his icon will show as a Human/Bird. Another thing about Missingo is that he can be anywhere from level 0 to anywhere around level 350.

You know that pesky Mother Marowak Ghost that haunts the Pokemon Tower? Normally you have to fight Team Rocket to get the Silph Scope. But if you don't feel like battling them all or you just want to do this quickly, go to Celedon City.

Go to the mall and buy a PokeDoll. Then go back to the Pokemon Tower in Lavander Town and use the PokeDoll on the Ghost.

Not only are your Pokemon spared a fight (it saves their energy for fighting the Rocket guards), you just calmed Marowak in a matter of minutes! This also works for Pokemon Blue and Yellow.

I did it once and if I turned my gamboy back on it said : game save data
Destroyed , please start new game.
So beware of catching it(seeing it is not worse but catching it is)!

Okay here is how it is, first you need to go to the city that misty is in. Then go to nugget bridge and when you go to your right there should be a trainer in the grass. (you should probably save before this.)

Then you should go down to where he can spot you.right away you need to press start then fly (if you battled him before it is useless) then you pick a city to fly to. After that you cannot press start or the a butten. Then you have to get into a battle with a person.

After that you can press start. So now fly to the city where misty is (again) then go up to nugget bridge.(you should have some pokeballs with you) then when you go up far enough the game should make your menu pop up. Then just press b and you will get into a battle. Keep on doing this if you did not fight mew.

( oh yeah and remember in the beggening when I told you to save I said that because sometimes the guy in the grass will spot you) hope I helped!! See you!!

Do the missingno cheat and if you look for a long time you might find a lvl 1million snorlax my friedn found 1 and he tryed to fight it and all his pokem died.

3.save it

6.fly to where you fight misty go to slowpoke kid

This is how I got every pokemon

Ok,heres what you do.

Get the master ball from the Silph Co. Office building.

Then Duplicate it (it's easy to find out how to doplicate, so I aint' going to explain it)
Then get your Pokemon that knows surf. Go to nugget bridge. Nthere is some water there,surf down it. Eventually you will be at a tunnel enterance. Go in and you can get a varity of Pokemon that are around level 52 that you would find at lower levels anywhere else(like venomoth and electrode)

Takae charmander with professer as it would be easy to complete the game easily
But it would be hard only the second gym

After the nugget bridge go east- a trainer will be facing north- he has a slowpoke lv 17 DONT FACE HIM!!!! It is youngster

Later on going west from lavendar there is a gambler facing north at the underground path DONT FACE HIM- he has poliwag/ poliwhirl
Once you have fly heres what you do-

Go to celedon go east to underground path go in it then come out the other side AS SOON AS U COME OUT DONT MOVE - save your game now- if you take another step forward (down) gambler will see you- after saving press down then start really fast

You should have he menu pop up- fly to cerualean- as your flying he will see u- ( your start button doesnt work during this time).

Now go north up nugget bridge and face youngster with slowpoke - after the battle fly to lavender - go east right when you leave your menu pops up- press b- a wild Pokemon attacks you - it is lv 7 mew!

Make sure you catch a L3 PkMn in Pewter City (but not Jiglypuff or Wiglypuff).

At S.S. Anne beat everyone even Gary but leave the people in the rooms before Gary (don't even go there).

Then, Withdraw the L3 PkMn at leave the others you have (deposit them) via PC. Get CUT from the Captain then battle someone and you'll lose and black out but S.S. Anne will still be there.

Now you can do the Mew cheat.

'Allo! I've Tested This Cheat Before, And Now I Have A Mew On My Pokemon Crystal Verson, Named Tiko... Why? Because I Felt Like Putting Him There. Okay, On To The Cheat.

Here's What Ya Do:

1. Start A New Game On Pokemon Red Or Blue. Play The Game Normally Until You Get To Cerulean City. Go Somewhere, And Catch An Abra.

2. After Doing That, Go Up The Nugget Bridge. Beat Every Trainer There, EXCEPT the Youngster With The Slowpoke, And The Dude In The Grass Next To The Nugget Bridge.

3. Be Sure You've Been To The Pokemon Center In Cerulean City Before Continuing. Save If You'd Like Before Continuing In Case You Mess Up.

4. Carefully Walk To Where The Trainer In The Grass Is, And Press Start Before He Battles You. If The Exclamation Mark Bubble Appears Over His Head, You're Too Late. Go To Your Abra And Use Teleport.

5. When You Exit The Pokemon Center, Your Start Button Won't Be Working. That's Perfectly Normal. Now, Go To The Youngster And Battle Him. Your Start Button Should Work now. Teleport Back To Cerulean, And Heal, Save, Buy Pokeballs, Or Whatever.

6. Go Back To The Nugget Bridge. After A Bit Of Walking, Your Start Menu Should Appear. Press B, And A Level 7 Mew Should Appear. Catch It, And Voila, Your Very Own Mew.

To have better results when fishing, tap A continously.

To get Dratini and Dragonair you must have the super rod. They are in the begging of the safari zone in the water.

If you are a begginer I would reccomend you choose bulbasaur.
If you are an intermediate player choose Squirtle.
If you are an advanced player you should choose charmander.

One thing that makes me mad is to see people saying "Missingno is unsafe to catch and can glitch the data off your game", because they are WRONG!!!!! I have caught Missingno 23 times in counting and my game has never shown a hint of corruption in it (well, expect for the hall of fame in the PC is all glitchy, but who cares about that). In fact, I have evolved one into a Kanghaskan before. So, when you see a submission with "Don't catch Misssingno" in it, then don't believe it. Missingno is 100% safe to catch, as far as I have seen. If you lose your data with Missingno, let me know, because 23 times without a single huge glitch on my game is pretty overwhelming evidence to me.

Have you ever got to a Trainer, but could not seem to win, because your starter was weak against the other pokemon, well here is a way to back up those starters (assuming you train the back-ups well)
WIth Squirtle, have a Fire-type and a Ground-type with it
With Charmander, have a Water- or Grass-type and an Electric-type with it
With Bulbasaur, have a Kangaskhan, Tauros, or a Bug-type, a Water-type, an Electric-type, and a Fire-type

-Okay heres how the glitch works, first go to viriadian city and talk to an old man he will show you how to catch Pokemon, then fly to the island and surf up and down, you will find, Lv.0 MissingNo.,Lv.80, and 146. Also the sixth item in your bag will be maxed out everytime you find missingno.

Did you know that you can get a Pikachu that knows the Water technique Surf? Here's how you can get it (outside of winning a Nintendo Pokemon contest):
Surfing Pikachu is hidden in Pokémon Stadium for the Nintendo 64. To teach your Pikachu Surf (a technique it can normally not learn), you need to first unlock the R-2 (Round 2) mode. Then do the following:


Enter the R-2 Prime Cup's Master Ball division (you have to beat the first three divisions first). Assemble a team that contains a Pikachu that does not yet know Surf. You HAVE to use a Pikachu from your Game Boy game. You cannot unlock Surfing Pikachu using a Rental Pokémon. Do not register your team! Pick it directly from your Game Boy cartridge. You now have to beat the Prime Cup's Master Ball division using a three-Pokémon team that always contains Pikachu. Pikachu has to be in every one of the eight battles. You are not allowed to use any continues. If you do, you won't get Surfing Pikachu.

Once you have fulfilled all the above conditions, you are shown an award screen with Pikachu standing on a surfboard. From here on, Pikachu can use the Surf technique both in battle and during gameplay (Game Boy versions only). In Pokémon Yellow, you can now also access the hidden Surfing Pikachu mini-game on Route 19.

There is also a GameShark code that lets you access Surfing Pikachu, but we advise against using it, since it can mess up your Pokédex and save data. It's not worth the trouble.

Hey people,
Just to let you know, if someone tells you your name decides what Pokemon you see, believe them. I called myself something like zzYzEzD to see if I could find a Lv 185 Mewtwo, Charizard and Bulbasaur. Guess what, I did. However, it does mean that you have to use the other Missingno cheat to find Missingno more easily. Because of my name, Missingno became very rare.

Try to do your pokedex as you go along and train your Pokemon fairly, if you don't your battles will be too hard. You need a good mix of pokemon.

Here is a list of Pokemon that can evolve when they are traded:

Kadabra
Graveler

Go talk to the old man in the second town take to two steps then fly to two towns below it and then walk to the water to the right of the gym and swim on the edge of the water intill you bump into a missingno and beat it and you will get one hundred of what ever is in the sixth spot in your item pack.

To cut grass pokemon live in, teach a pokemon HMcut and then go up to the grass and cut away!

Happy Cuttin'! Super Cheats in The Bomb!

Name yourself Red and your rival Blue at the start of the game. Once you get Surf and Fly talk to the man in Viridian City who shows you how to catch Poke'mon.

Say NO to his question and watch him catch a Weedle.

Then Fly to Fuchsia City and Surf down to the Seafoam Islands. Surf up and down the edge, half in the water and half out until you find a level 132 Mewtwo.

Catch it using an Ultra ball or a Master ball. I prefer to use a Master ball. When you catch it use lots of rare candys on it.

Get the rare candys by doing the same thing you did to get Mewtwo except put one rare candy in sixth position and Surf up and down until you find Missingo then run and you will have 100 to 400 rare candys.

When Mewtwo gets to level 255 stop using them and there you have it, a level 255 Mewtwo with
800 to 900 health and you can teach it some really cool TM's like Thunder,
Fire Blast, Blizzard and Psychic.

WARNING! Do not deposit Mewtwo in the PC, or it will go back to level 146 and do not use any more rare candys on it because it will go back to level 1.

Also only use it in link cable battles because if you use it for in-game battles it will go back to level 100. But I guess that isn't so bad because you still have a level 100 Mewtwo.
