First of all...make sure you havent defeated the youngster with the slowpoke north of Cerulean City by bills house, and the old man next to the Underground Passage just west of Lavender Town. You also need to know Fly. Stand in front of the door of the Underground Passage and and get ready to push start. Take one step down and quickly push start before the old man battles you. (make sure you have your game saved before this since you wont during.) Go to your Pokemon and fly to cerulean city and go north to fight the youngster. Don't fight any other Pokemon before him!! Notice that your start button wont work because the game thinks you are in a battle. Defeat the youngsters slowpoke and fly back to lavender town. Once you take one step out of town on the west side, your menu will pop up. Just hit B and you will battle a Level 7 Mew who knows only pound!! Hes kinda hard to catch so weaken him a little and throw a great ball or ultra ball at him...Thanks
