The babies don't crawl, they just turn into a toddler, you have to bake a cake & have a birthday then it just turns into a walkin toddler then do it again for it to turn into a teen

I came on to the game one day and my baby was on the floor crawling everywhere but I put it back in the cot and it has not crawled for a week

The baby crawls when there is an investigate puppy/kitten action assigned to it. Also, I ve noticed that the baby doesn't get out of crib unless you're in some other Sims home or somewhere else at that time.

I guess there’s a glitch in my app but I tapped my dog and pressed investigate, but the time on the action wasn’t moving so I canceled it and the baby appear out of the crib and onto the floor lol 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️Guest answered:
If you move Sims with an infant to another house. The baby will be being held by one of your sims in the new house. You have different options then like crawling practice walking couple others. But as soon as you put baby back in crib you're done, unless there is a way to get baby back out, I do not know that one.

Actually the new update allow you to the baby to walk or crawl

If you do the puppy odyssey Quest, level 11 (available from the Park)when you are about 90% you will have the opportunity to get the puppy from the Pet store for free. Put it into a house with a baby. You can make the baby investigate the puppy. Leave the house before the task is finished. Then go right back and the baby will be on the floor. Cancel the action. While on the floor people can teach baby to walk, diaper Changes only take 8 secs and feeding 9 secs. If you leave the house while baby is crawling it will go back to crib. If someone is holding it they will still be holing when you return.
You can relocate puppy to any house with a baby and do this.

I had a puppy, didn’t know who I used to investigates the puppy and next thing I know, my baby sim is on the ground! That how I did it

Mine came out when I had a puppy’s it played with it then I clicked sofa to practice walking does crawl But once puppy aged the baby didn’t come out then .

You just have to start the nancy is best Quest and then you will be able to take the baby out of the crib.
