Resistance Comms increases the amount of contacts you can tap. Lots of resistance outposts will allow you to have more monthly gains, plus more variety of combat missions. Yes, more combat missions will allow you to gain more Engineers, more supplies, Intel, and everything else.

This is an important building because aside from what was mentioned above, building Resistance comms will help you in delaying the Avatar project. You will have no problems in reaching different territories and advancing to Avatar Project Facilities before it is too late. Sixteen (16) are the maximum number of Resistance Comms that you can build, as it is also the number of regions that can be contacted. Two Resistance Comms should be enough because the upgrades will allow you to accommodate all of the sixteen territories.
