How to Disable the Animations on the Windows 8 Start Screen

Animation makes everything look so cool, but in some cases animations are distraction. it feels like I'm getting dizzy by watching all these crazy animation over and over again. this is how you can disable it.

What to do:

1. When the start screen appears, type Computer it will pop up in the search results.





2. Right click it, and click Properties.





3. Click Advanced System Settings.





4. Click Settings under the performance section.





5. Uncheck the first option, Animate controls and elements inside windows, and press OK.




This will disable the start screen animation that you see when you log in
