How to Customize the Lock Screen on Windows 8

The lock screen for Windows 8 is the screen for your Windows 8 PC that appears when you boot your PC or when it is sleeping. The lock screen is not just a background image it contains widgets that display notifications. These widgets known as lock screen apps, allow you to view information such as new email, calendar and social updates without unlocking your computer.What to do:
- Press Windows Key + I to open the Settings charm and select Change PC settings.
- Select Personalize.
- Click one of the background images or use the Browse button and select any image from your computer.
