How do you kill the great jaggi on level 2 quests?

If you are a gunner, then buy the Medium bowgun. I killed it in about ten minutes give or take. If you're a blademaster, I would go for the most powerful great sword you can get or you could use a lance. Great swords and lances are good for defense. Unfortunately, you cannot keep the Great Jaggi quiet, and it will continue to call it's minions. When this happens, just keep going for the Great Jaggi but keep an eye on the jaggi & jaggia.

I would also bring herbs and blue mushrooms to combine into potions. If you didn't already know this, you can combine potions with honey to make mega potions, which heal you alot more than regular potions.

The only other advice I have for you would be to upgrade your armor as much as you can; you should have nothing worse than Hunter's armor to fight this thing.

1: you have to first always try to stay on it's side
2:fight it when it's breathing hard
3:when it starts doing those body slams you roll
4:try to hit it with sonic bombs and set traps
5:don't let it rest or eat it will become powerful
6:always hit with paint ball

there you go 6 steps only!!!!!!!!!!

Just keep hitting it's head and dodge simple

I used a hammer, I think the first one, and kept aiming for the head,easy and also you can k.o it which is good.

Use lance and at least decent armor. If ya got wifi go online do some quest get good stuff forge stuff with good stuff. Killed him with sharq attaq and whole alloy armor set.
