Mining with torch equiped
How do you equip/use your torch, at the same time as when your mining

(Using Wiimote/Nunchuck) Equip your torch first, then shake the Nunchuck. I think this also works with carving?

shake your nunchuck when you have the torch equiped(i don't know what you do on the classic so if you can not figure it out use the nunchuck.)

The CC controls require you to be blocking to use items with the SnS while your sword is drawn. As for mining with the torch all you need to do is hold the are button down while you're mining.
