This basically means that the one of the players is trying to connect to the game using an outed version of Valorant.
The issue of the Version Mismatch error can be easily solved by the player who has the outdated version of Valorant closing out of the game and restarting. Upon restarting Valorant they will be met with a prompt to download the latest version. If they do not receive this prompt they may need to redownload the game again or run the installer again to get the newest update loaded onto their computer or laptop. Once the player has the latest Valorant patch on their device they should encounter no further issues joining your squad. Keep in mind that once Riot Games, the developer of the game releases a new patch for Valorant the issue will resurface again if all the players you are trying to squad up with have not updated their game with the latest patch.
If however the new update has not yet arrived in the region of the player who is getting the 'Version Mismatch' error message they will not be able to fix the problem right away and will have no choice but to wait for it to be released in their region before they can join your squad. In the meantime they will have no choice but to continue playing games with friends in their region.
