The 'Purchase Failed' error occurs when players try to purchase Valorant Points (VP) in-game at the store. This is creating a problem as it prevents them from accessing new Agents and also stops their free Agent unlock from working. Even if you had the Valorant Points to buy the Battle Pass, you will be met with similar issues unlocking the tiers properly. These issues have not as yet been acknowledged by Riot Games, the developer of Valorant, who are still working on a fix to restore Valorant Points lost from the Beta. These are not the only issues in the game, players are also experiencing connectivity problems preventing them from getting into games with some some players who do manage to do so suddenly finding themselves being disconnected and incurring penalties for leaving. Competitive gameplay is not yet available in Valorant and it appears it will not be until these issues are resolved. When this will happen is unclear and all players can do at the moment is be patient and wait for the developers of the game to find and bring solutions to these and other problems the game is presenting.

How to Fix the 'Purchase Failed' Error

Unfortunately there is not a lot players can do to fix this problem as the error comes directly from the game's servers so it is up to Riot Games and their developers to rectify the problem. The only step players can do to help as they wait for these issues to be resolved is to make sure they have the latest game update to stay up to date with any changes that are being made.
