How to get Classmarks in Tactics Ogre: Reborn
The class of your character dictates nearly everything you can do with them in Tactics Ogre: Reborn. This includes your equipment choice, your skillset, and whether you can use magic. In order to change the class of your character requires items called Classmarks, these are one use items you consume. Classmarks can either be purchased or found during the game. Rune Fencer/Valkyrie
How to get:
Purchased at the shop for 250 Goth.
- Human, Winged, Orc
Archer
How to get:
- Purchased at the shop for 250 Goth.
Who can use it:
- Human, Winged, Skeleton, Lamia, Orc
Wizard/Enchantress
How to get:
- Purchased at the shop for 250 Goth.
Who can use it:
- Human, Winged, Lamia, Orc, Ghost, Skeleton
Cleric
How to get:
- Purchased at the shop for 250 Goth.
Who can use it:

How to get:
- Multiple rewarded for recruiting Lindl in Chapter 4.

How to get:

Juggernaut
How to get:
- Drops from enemy Juggernauts.
Who can use it:
- Lizardman, Lamia, Orc
Patriarch/Matriarch
How to get:
- Drops from enemy Patriarchs and Matriarchs.

Generic Classmarks
Lord
How to get:
- Obtained after the story battles at Barnicia if Catiua is dead.
Who can use it:
- Denam
Princess
How to get:
- Obtained after the story battles at Barnicia if Catiua is alive.
Who can use it:
- Catiua
Priest
How to get:
- Drops from Cleric enemies in Phorampa Wildwood. Some late Chapter 4 battles have these Classmarks as Bonus Objective rewards.
Who can use it:
- Catiua
Dark Priest
How to get:
- You can get this Classmark from a Bonus Objective in Chapter 4. In the stronghold battles in Heim, the leftmost battle in the choice of three has an objective that you'll satisfy if you bring Catiua as a Princess into the battle - this will reward you with the Classmark.
Who can use it:
- Catiua
Ranger
How to get:
- Acquired after recruiting Vyce in Chapter 3 on the Law path.
Who can use it:
- Vyce, Azelstan
White Knight
- How to get:
Obtained after recruiting either Gildas or Mirdyn in Chapter 3.
Mirdyn, Gildas, Ravness, Ozma
Shaman
How to get:
- Obtained after beating all six Temple Guardians in Chapter 4 during the Shrines sidequest. More can drop from refighting the Guardians.
Who can use it:
- Cerya, Olivya, Sherri, Cistina, Iuria, Deneb
Knight Commander
How to get:
- Obtained after recruiting Ozma in Chapter 4 on the Law path.
Who can use it:
- Ozma
Wicce
How to get:
- To obtain Deneb in the Wicce class, you'll have to perform three Relic Upgrades at her secret shop before unlocking her recruitment quest and getting her as a guest. As a guest she will be a Witch, but will join permanently as a Wicce if you performed the requirements correctly.

How to get:
- Obtained after recruiting Azelstan in Chapter 4.
Who can use it:
- Azelstan, Denam, Canopus, Vyce
Songstress
How to get:
- Obtained after recruiting Iuria in CODA Episode 2.
Who can use it:

Paladin
How to get:
- Purchased from Deneb's secret shop after CODA Episode 3.
Who can use it:
- Lanselot
Astromancer
How to get:
- Obtained after recruiting Warren in CODA Episode 2. More can be purchased from Deneb's shop.

Defeat Cloud Dragons in battle.

Lich and Divine Knight Classmarks
There are two classes in Tactics Ogre: Reborn that cannot be acquired with Classmarks, these are the Lich and Divine Knight.
Lich
In order to get a Lich you must use a Ring of the Dead. This is an item that drops from some enemies and battles in the Palace of the Dead. The Ring of the Dead can only be used on living characters and unlike previous versions of the game where its use was restricted in Tactics Ogre: Reborn it can be used anywhere.
Divine Knight
In order to get a Divine Knight you must use an Ensanguined Rood. This item drops from enemies and battles in the San Bronsa Ruins, and it can only be used on Skeletons or Ghosts. Unlike previous versions of the game where its use was restricted to a certain floor of the San Bronsa Ruins the Ensanguined Rood can now be used anywhere.
